Madame Alexander Dolls

1954 Madame Alexander Kins SLW doll in tagged Blue Danube # 351. She wear a tagged dress 1954 Blue Danube dress #351. She is signed ALEX on the back. She has a triple stitch hair. She is made of hard plastic. Beautiful Blue/Green color eyes? Approximate measurements are 7.5 tall. She comes to you as you see in the photos, but she may need a little love. I didn’t notice any major problems on the dress like holes or rips but over the years the color may have little faded and some stains are present, I believe that could go away by washing it lightly. The elastic sleeves is not stretched and is still perfect. The doll is in near mint condition but I noticed a little red on the back. I have not try to cleaned but for a vintage doll doesn’t show much but I wanted to let you know everything I have noticed. The dress is still crisp and looks like it has never been washed. I’m not the original owner or a professional collector but. In my opinion she is still in lovely condition. Please check all my photos or ask any questions before you purchasing. KAREN BALLERINA – MADAME ALEXANDER – 18 ALL COMPO VINTAGE. Condition is “Used” but Excellent. She has never been played with nor undressed. She is all original, her outfit is complete. Her stringing in her arms are loose, but can be re-strung. Owner will leave that to the new Owner. Although she has never been undressed, she has been displayed in a climate-monitored atmosphere out of sunlight. Only crazing is above the photo left eye. I have taken a close-up of that area. As you can see in the pictures, she is still in her original, untouched elaborate coiffure with braided coronet at the crown and floral-decorated coiled braids at each side of the face. Jointing at the shoulders and hips. She has her original, still stiff tulle ballerina costume with gold rick-rack trim, original panties, ballet slippers, velvet choker ribbon and wrist ties. “Ballerina” known as “Karen Ballerina” was offered in the Madame Alexander 1946 catalog.
