Vintage Doll Madame Alexander 36 1959 Playpal Type JANIE Strawberry Blonde Hair! She is marked, “Alexander 36 1959″ on the back of her head. Looks like there is a marking on the body, but hard to read. The head has lightened in color from the body and one leg is lighter than the other. Other than that, I do not see much wrong with her. She was one of my mother’s favorites. A really lovely doll that needs some cleaning. See photos and ask questions, please. Part of our extensive personal collection. The dress is paired with a “Richard Originals” platter hat and purse combo in white straw with aqua silk flowers rhinestone accents and a cute striped ribbon on the hat. This style of hat was very popular in the 1950′s. The tagged dress is aqua taffeta. I don’t see any holes tears rips stains or odors to the dress. It is in very nice condition for it’s age and displays very well. Also included is a pretty white bead necklace and bracelet. The sale is for the dress, hat and purse, necklace and bracelet only. The doll and shoes are not included. The dress is displayed over a petticoat and this is not included. Thank you for looking.
