Madame Alexander Dolls

The doll is pictured on page #45 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous brunette wig in the original set. In addition to the “Yachting Ensemble” she will also arrive wearing her original faux diamond solitaire earrings, red Cissy shoes, a faux ruby ring, new navy blue velvet ribbon in her hair, and she carries French depose white sunglasses. There are no holes rips or tears to Cissy’s clothes. The elastic on the waist of the pants has relaxed as you can see in the last photo. The halter top is exceptionally nice. It is usually found with frayed lining, the lining on this top is minty. The tag on the jacket is excellent no sign of ever being washed. The emblem on the jacket shows some wear and missing beads which is often seen, very often the emblem is missing altogether. She is a very clean doll and would be a wonderful addition to any collection especially in this very special outfit. The pictures are the main description. Please examine them and ask questions. This offering is for a Cissette doll dressed as the “Gibson Girl” by Madame Alexander. The doll is in very good condition with perfect face paint, bright blue eye shadow, and lightly colored blushed cheeks. As noted in the book “Cissette A Compete Guide to the Vintage Alexander Dolls” by Marjorie E. When found in mint condition this Gibson Girl is one of the most vibrant and beautiful Cissettes. Her hair is in the original untouched set. She retains 100% of her finger nail polish and there are no cracks or seam splits on her body. She wears her original rhinestone earrings and ring. Her outfit has no rips, tears or stains and the colors have remained vibrant. The velvet skirt has no rubs or wear and it has retained its deep purple color with no fading. The snap in the back is firmly attached. Elastic on the skirt has relaxed (see photos). The blouse is crisp and the buttons are firmly attached. Her hat is in very good condition with no rips or snags to the attached veil; however, this is not the original hat. Her original panties are in excellent condition. Stockings are not snagged or torn, no shoes. She is a wonderful example of this harder to find dressed Cissette doll. Head and arms are loose but stay in place. She comes with a stand. All items come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. All items have been in stored in crates in a temperature controlled environment. This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. This Cissy is the cleanest Cissy I have ever seen. I lifted her head and looked and she is like a new doll. I love the material and fit and she also has a red rick rack can can slip that she is trying to show off in one of my pics. She will have panties and hose and a new pair of white shoes to match. She also will have a faux diamond ring that is NOT Madame Alexander. She just has a very pretty face with very blue eyes, all lashes and oh so clean. Golden blonde hair original wig. Her cheeks have been professionally blushed very lightly and sealed. She is a nicely strung doll with no issues. Since my pictures, I decided to give her earring holes, please see the last pic. They turned out real nice so she now has earrings as well. The stand is not included. Our home is non smoking and she has no odors. Thank you for looking!
