The dress is from the 1956 product line and is pictured on page 48 of The Cissy Files. The dress has no odors. The taffeta is crisp and displays wonderfully. The Cissy tag has been cut from the back neckline and still has the cut end tab that you can see through the lining of the bodice. This is an excellent dress that Cissy would look beautiful wearing. Vintage 1950′s hard plastic 17 Alice in Wonderland doll with original blue and white fine checkered dress and white pinafore. She is unmarked and the dress is not tagged. She is a Madame Alexander with Margarete face. I have found similar variations of this dress and pinafore but not exactly the same. She is in “good” pre-owned condition. Her hair has been trimmed at one time. Undies, shoe and socks are replacements. Dress and pinafore are original. I have not washed or ironed her clothes. She is vintage good condition and rare. She is a walker. Her head will turn when her legs move. However, her legs joints are loose and not very tight. She is missing her floral headpiece. The hat is replacement. Her dress is original and tagged. I’m not sure about her panty and stockings are original or not. Her shoes look like replacement too. Her cheeks blushing have been lightly refreshed. Overall still a beautiful doll for your consideration. I’m not a vintage doll expert but just a new casual collector. Madame Alexander 21 Wendy Ann Composition Doll. She has very light crazing on her legs and torso, only detectable very close-up. Her arms and face are free of crazing. Please note paint rubs at hip and shoulder, not visible with clothing. She has beautiful and remarkably clear brown eyes and full lush lashes. Her replacement wig is a gorgeous human hair pale blonde with braids and pink bows. Her little girl dress is a vintage smocked blue gingham that buttons down the back. Ivory-colored faux leather tie-shoes are replacements and her socks are new and made to be folded into anklets or unfolded into knee socks. She wears vintage Madame Alexander panties that tie with a string at the back. Wendy Ann has a beautiful and un-touched complexion. Her white kitty comes with her to her new home!
