The 24-inch doll has blonde straight hair, black eyes, and a light complexion. The doll is in its original packaging and is child safe. The set includes one doll made of vinyl and cloth and is a single unit. The doll is perfect for collectors and is an original, licensed doll from the Madame Alexander brand. The doll’s features and details are simple, yet lovely. From the doll’s clothing to its quality. This doll is a must-have for anyone who loves vintage dolls and is looking for a unique addition to their collection. This is a pre owned doll and looks to perhaps have been very gently loved or played with. Flaws or imperfections that I see and want to make a notation of. There is an extremely faint discoloration on the right cheek. It can be removed with a doll repair product called remove zit. I can include some with instructions at buyers request. Next, there is a popped thread along the seam to the romper where it connects in the groin area. Just wanted to make a note of it. Her cryer is not currently in working order. The hair has some pieces that are at different lengths on the back side. I do not believe that it was altered, as I have viewed many of these dolls and most had the uneven choppy cut along the back side. However please view these photos of the hair closely to make sure you are okay with this before purchasing. Lastly the edges of the box do have some wear and have been re-taped. Madame Alexander vintage 1950′s Cissy doll with some accessories. Dress is tagged Cissy, comes with doll, blue dress, black velvet shawl jacket, floral headpiece, two mismatched shoes, hat box with fashion award metal charm, pair of nylon hosiery. This is our precious 1953 Madame Alexander-kin Wendy Kin 8 inch Doll that is the heavier weight Kin doll with such a gorgeous face. Her complexion is light with pinky cheeks. She has rare gorgeous brown eyes that open and close nicely, and beautifully painted bottom lashes. Note in Photo 15 that we see a real tiny indent on the bottom rim of her right eye socket. Her triple-stitched hair is a darker blonde with some flyaways. She is marked ALEX on her back. She stands well and can pose her arms. Her body, arms and legs are nice but there is definite lighter discoloration to her leg area from exposure as noted in pictures. Just a sweet little angel. Her outfit includes: Kin tagged peachy-pink Swiss Dot Dress that is in very nice, crisp and clean condition. Her underpants and slip have the signature Kin embroidery on them. Both pieces are in clean condition but the underpants have some wear along the leg opening embroidery area with elastic a bit loose at waist. The half-slip is loose at waist too. She wears her Kin black side snap fuzzy bottom shoes with more current white socks. Shoes are in good condition with secure snaps but do have wear with the fuzz easily shedding now. Difficult to part with this sweetheart and hoping to find her a wonderful new home. Please do not hesitate to ask for any additional photos or closeups as we are parting with a family collection and want to make sure that you know as much as possible about her before purchasing her.
