Madame Alexander Dolls

This Cissy is an infused doll (paint in infused into the plastic, not a painted doll). She is just lovely and is free of odors, stains, chews, or splits. She has had very thin split repairs on top of both of her legs and along the sides of her neck. Both areas are shown in photos. They were very minimal. She is newly restrung to the head and arms. She has gorgeous blue eyes and she has had middle lash replacement on the right eye. She has had her cheeks reblushed and a UV sealer applied to her face. Her lips have been painted and sealed. Her hair is in it’s original style with pull up sides and a top knot. Hair is clean and full with no cuts or bald areas. She has a very nice body and matching arms. Her right leg is a bit looser than her left. She can pose nicely. She is wearing a new white chemise made in Cissy fashion, new nylons, vintage Cissy mule heels, and a pair of vintage Cissy earrings. A lovely Cissy, ready to wear anything in style! Note: Because there are so many people doing repairs on these lovely dolls and I have been asked many questions, I would like to clarify a bit of the work I do. I have had training in repairs and have been doing them for many years. My spa treatments are done with solvent based paints that are air brushed on, the same that are used on plastic bumpers on cars. The paint is UV protected and is permanent and will not rub off. The paint is also sealed with a UV protectant sealer. It also is permanent and will not yellow or wash off. I remove the eyes through the neck opening and replace them back the same way once eyelash and eye repair is finished. I do NOT split the head open, nor would I recommend it. I try to always think of the long term effects of my repairs and fixes. As for the clothing I make, I try to make them as close to an original design as possible. I also try to use vintage 50′s fabrics as often as I can. If I do not, I will always state so. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Pictures are part of the description. Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. Cissy will come to you undressed ready for you to clothe her with an outfit of your choice. Cissy is in good condition. Her wig is neatly coiffed into a curly bob. Her face has been Re blushed and sealed. She has bewitching luminous hazel eyes. Cissys stringing is good. Her right leg is stiff to move at the hip joint but it does move. One has to be gentle when placing her in a sitting position. Her knee joints operate smoothly. Her arms are a paler shade than her torso. She has the usual rubs/mars at her joints and they are visible in the pictures. On her right leg Cissy has a split repair which extends to the top of her leg hip. It is coming undone and I leave it to the next owner as to how they want to deal with it. Description, magnify all the pictures and ask for more should you find it necessary. Vintage Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissette is Dressed in Pink Polished Cotton Dress with White Bib of Val Lace and Buttons Style #909 of 1957 as Shown on Page 148 in Marjorie Merod’s “Cissette a Complete Guide”. Doll and Outfit are in New Condition. I took them Out of Original Box. Outfit Comes with with Taffeta Slip and Panties, both Trimmed With Val Lace. The Hat was also Included in the box. I have Added Pink Stockings and Shoes. There is a very small pin prick sized black spot near hem of skirt which is barely noticeable and I haven’t tried to remove it. Cissette Doll has Lovely Face. The hat came without the doll or gown It is truly a very nice vintage Madame Alexander Cissy hat. It has all the characteristics–horsehair with a bendable brim, With rows of trim held by delicate thread and a cluster of gorgeous flowers. I have seen in the books on Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. If you are collecting any and all Cissy accessories to hopefully assemble complete outfits in the future then this is also your chance : Original Cissy hats that complete the outfits are RARE or HTF and one in this nearly perfect condition would be a treasured addition to any Madame Alexander doll collection. Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Golden blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged red and white polka dot dress. Matching panties, red molded plastic. Red straw cloche hat with veil and red velvet flowers. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has golden blonde hair with a stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is longer length in back, she has bangs and there is stitching at the bangs. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with double pearl drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged white dress with red polka dots, red rick rack trim on the bodice. She has matching panties and red molded plastic high heels with bows on the toes. Her hat is adorable, red straw, cloche style with white veil draped to the back and red velvet flowers. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition.
