Madame Alexander Anne of Green Gables Doll Trunk Wardrobe Set Extra Accessories. Beautiful Doll Set that was never used, just collected, box kept. The doll has it original packaging and comes with extra outfits hanging in the trunk along with another pair of black shoes, hat, schoolboard that may be wrapped in the pink tissue paper? (did not want to open as it original), collector registration/card and hanging tag on her wrist. Although plastic packages are not sealed, contents were not removed and photos show both sides of the plastic for viewing. (They appear how they were originally placed in the bag) The accessories can be found in the trunk 2 drawer compartments. The trunk is in great condition and comes with another original box that everything was stored in as well as protected. All may have normal wear due to age and storage. This is a beautiful collectible doll from a classic story – Anne of Green Gables. Like any used/new product, there may be wear & tear due to use, age, storage and cleaning/washing. For sale is Cissy’s HTF tagged taffeta dress and bolero from 1957, along with an adorable pillbox hat, Premier suede purse with rhinestone detail and hankie, black nylon gloves, and a vintage watch with band to match the dress. This dress and bolero is usually referred to as navy, but I see it as a sapphire blue. There is a beautiful sequin decoration on the bolero closure that really dazzles. All snaps are secure. I have had this outfit for some time, but never displayed it. There is some wrinkling from storage, so a light press would be beneficial. The outfit is in excellent condition. The rhinestones on the Premier purse are bright and sparkly. A lace-trimmed nylon hankie peeks out from one side. The gloves are not vintage. They have never been used. The pillbox hat is black straw with black velvet trim around the perimeter. It formerly had some little rhinestones on the front until my granddaughter managed to pop them off. I replaced them with a grosgrain bow that can be worn to the front, either side, or back–whatever pleases you. The hat is a Richard Original with the aforementioned change. The little watch is on its original card and was never intended to be removed before it went on the doll that would wear this outfit. The blue band matches the dress so well. A Cissy doll is modeling the outfit (minus the watch) in the last two pictures, but she, her shoes, and stand are not included in this listing. This is a very striking outfit for your Cissy. Perfect hair set in factory style with floral headpiece. Vivid facial coloring, no splits or cracks. I recently took apart a drop waist Cissy dress that was in shreds. This new dress has been created following that pattern stitch by stitch. This vintage polished cotton material has never been washed and has that sheen typical of the 1950′s style. A dress similar to this one is depicted on page 171 of the most recent Kiley book. She describes it as RARE. The pretty stripes are accented with a gross grain ribbon with a bow in the back. This dress fits Cissy like a glove, and would not work on a fuller figured doll without moving the snaps. What a perfect spring dress for Cissy. The Cissy doll is not for sale. Here is a complete outfit for your vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. It consists of a tagged dress, tagged slip, hat, purse, necklace, and high heels. The dress has always been one of my favorite day dresses for Cissy, and it is in excellent, unwashed condition. Rhinestones are intact and very sparkly, and the lace has not aged–nice and white. Has four secure square snaps down the back and an excellent “Cissy” tag. The white taffeta slip is tagged and has the red grosgrain bow, which makes it a much harder-to-find Cissy slip. The original elastic is still incredibly tight, and the slip has not been washed. It does have two pinholes–one straight down from the red bow, which you can see through the netting, and the other is on the back of the slip and can be seen in the picture of the tag. The slip has retained most of its original white color. The hat with open crown was made by rtrorich and is tagged Richard Original. The tan straw is edged with a pretty glossy red straw, with a bow in the back of the same straw. Richard later made the purse/shopping bag for me. It is of a different straw, but the same red straw trim was used. A pair of France Depose sunglasses are hanging over the edge. Works very well, as one earpiece is missing. If you have an earpiece in the clear plastic, then you would have a useful pair of sunglasses. As they are, they are a neat decoration for the bag. Necklace consists of a very narrow vintage red ribbon, which holds a lightly-engraved locket, and ties in the back of the neck. Included is a pair of newer-made red high heels. Probably original Cissy lasts, but not sure. I have shown the outfit on a Cissy doll, which is not included, so you can see how it would look on your Cissy. A great outfit to add to your collection!
