MINT & ALL ORIGINAL – MADAME ALEXANDER. Mc GUFFEY ANA’ – HARD PLASTIC DOLL. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Oh you little cutie! And that what this McGuffey Ana is – just a little cutie. She is 14 inches tall. For reference see page #32 in “Doll Values” 13th Edition by Linda Edward. She was made from 1948 to 1950 by Madame Alexander. She is mint and all original. Just take a look at her facial painting – excellent. She does not have any splits or cracks in her plastic. However, I have not removed her clothing so as to maintain her originality. Just looks at the curls – they have their original set. What a wonderful doll. 1955 Beautiful Madame Alexander Kins Brunette Straight Leg Walker Tagged Dress. Beautiful brunette triple stitched wig. Blue eyes that open and close perfectly with beautiful full under lashes. She has lovely face color, rosy cheeks and red lips. Her body is in excellent condition, arms hold a pose and walking mechanism does not work. Her beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Dress is tagged Little Genius and is in lovely vintage condition with no rips, stains or repairs. She is wearing white lace trimmed panties, a white slip and black fuzzy tie shoes. She has a pink satin ribbon in her hair that matches her dress. She is a lovely girl! Vintage Madame Alexander-KINS Wendy. Adorable Alexander-kin doll from estate. I believe she is called Maypole Dance from 1954. She is a straight leg walker. Her walker mechanism works but seems a bit stiff to me. She has new bands on arms and legs. She comes with her original hang tag, pretty pink hat, pink organdy dress, blue button on pinafore, pink half slip, panties with blue trim, white socks and black fuzzy bottom side snap shoes. Some of the flocking has rubbed off the shoes in areas. She has pretty face color and is very clean with no odors. Her clothing is in lovely condition, appears never to have been laundered. Top of her socks are stretched out. Black fuzzy bottom shoes are scuffed. Faint pink mark on her chest. Faint spot above left eyebrow. Hang tag shows wear, corner was glued back together. HUGE 1950′s Madame Alexander CISSETTE Lot with 7 Tagged Garments and 2 dolls… One doll is Minty! The blonde Cissette is Gorgeous and has mint high facial coloring and mint hair in the original set! She is correctly marked MME Alexander on her upper back. Her body is all even toned with all of her fingers and toes. No marks, stains or other flaws. The doll is marked Alex on the back and still has the original clothing/hat and shoes. Face/lip paint looks good. The yes/no buttons on the back still work. Pink shoes look good. This 8 strung Madame Alexander doll is from the early 1950′s. She’s been very gently played with. Hair is in its original set, bit mussed. Body is fine but does have a few dark spots by ankles probably from the black shoes she wore. She’s well strung and a type of heavier doll made in the early days. Her makeup is fine and eyes open and close easily. She comes with her original black side snap shoes (snaps are working). The clothes are not tagged and in played with shape. Up for your consideration is this beautiful all original Madame Alexander Cissy doll from (I believe) the late 1950′s. She measures 20 inches in height and is dressed in what I think is her original darkish green tulle dress, embellished with little fabric roses and rhinestones. The dress has an underskirt and bodice lining of a finely woven ecru colored fabric. There is a label in the back seam of the underskirt that reads: “Cissy” Madame Alexander. She also has a half slip in a sort of taffeta with the hem lined in a gathered length of the same green tulle as the dress. The elastic of the waist of the half slip has been gathered with an elastic thread, I suppose because the elastic appears to be loose. She is wearing a pair of panties with lace trim at the leg openings. The elastic at the waist of the panties has also been gathered with elastic thread. She has on a pair of nylon stockings. Held up by elastic garters accented with a shiny embellishment. She also is wearing a pearl “necklace” that looks like it is strung on a wire and pearl earrings. She has delicately painted eyebrows, lustrous eyelashes on her working green sleep eyes, a darling upturned nose and lightly painted pouty lips. Her hair may be in need of some styling, but is in pretty good shape considering her age. She is marked on the back of her head “ALEXANDER”. There is a metal “headband ” across the top of her hair which seems to be original. Overall I believe that she is in very good condition, but could probably use a good gentle cleaning. Her stringing is intact and all of her fingers are in good shape, with no chew marks of anything else. I have been asked about any cracks or splits on the doll. Ther are no cracks or splits on her. Her torso is fine (no cracking at the crotch seam) , as are her legs and neck socket. Her panties are so tight on the legs that i wont remove them for fear of damaging her stockings and garters. I also don’t want to remove the stockings or garters for fear of damaging them. I’m sure that someone that know what they are doing can accomplish this. The item “A/O VINTAGE MME. ALEX. CISSY, ORIG.
