Very nice Madame Alexander-kins Wendy. Her outfit is Tagged and she is wearing a light Lavender satin dress with white lace trim. Her pretty dress has snaps back closure. She has on a matching Satin panties and her hat with flowers and Alexander-kins chin strap that holds her hat on her head. She is wearing her original anklets and black side snap fuzzy black shoes (smooth soles). She has on her white Wendy original slip. Wendy has her very visible brows and eyelashes and pretty blushed cheeks. No nicks or missing coloring, her face is very pretty. She is 8 hard plastic, and a STRAIGHT leg walker. Wendy has a triple stitch red wig pulled into pigtails. There is a loose gold string in each side. Her blue sleep eyes work well. Her face coloring is very nice. Her walking mechanism is just OK. Her legs are a bit loose and when you hold them towards her leg sockets and move them her head does move. Her dress is tagged Alexander-kins. The tag does have some fraying. The dress is red and white stripped organdy with black velvet sash. The bow of the sash has been retied. She has on white satin lace trimmed panties. Her side snap velvet shoes look like newer with textured bottoms. Her red woven hat has lillies of the valley trim. Some of the flowers are missing on the back of the hat. It has damage and no lid. Madame Alexander-kins “Queen Elizabeth in Court Gown” 1955 #499 from the “Me and My Shadow Series”. Her Majesty is an 8 inch, hard plastic, fully jointed, bend-knee walker with a vibrantly colored “Margaret” face and functioning rare blue sleep eyes. Her Tosca colored hair is in its original set and she wears a gold-tone metal flowered with jewel inset tiara along with a pearl necklace around her neck. She is dressed in a cream colored, tagged, tulle sleeved, low necked brocade gown, adorned with a jeweled, blue “Order of the Garter” sash and lined, scarlet velveteen robe which is tied around the neck with a gold braid. Underneath she has a matching cream colored lace trimmed taffeta full length half slip and panties. She wears cream-colored fuzzy tie shoes (there is some of the fuzzy material missing due to aging on right shoe). She comes in near mint condition. This is a Madame Alexander 8 bend knee walker Wendy or Alexander-kins doll. She is a Maggie Angel from 1961 and her number is 618. She is in beautiful condition! The only thing I noticed in examining her closely is some small darker spots on the back of her dress. Take a look at the picture. They are really hard to see. Pictures of #370, Sunny Day Outfit – The 8 doll has an auburn triple stitch wig with side curled ponytails – made by the Madame Alexander Doll Co. Her walker works smoothly, limbs fit perfectly and the doll has excellent banding. She stands on her own and poses, nothing loose. Her face coloring is very nice, her eyes blink, no stains or cracks on her body. Her knees bend – the doll itself is in excellent shape. The outfit is rare and complete. She has the original correct fuzzy bottom green side snap shoes with nylon socks. Her pink cotton short sleeve dress has its two studs and square snaps in back. Her undies match her dress. Her bonnet matches her apron. The bonnet has excellent elastic and both its studs are in place. There are no tears or problems with undies and bonnet. The tagged Alexander-kins in back is very good. This doll is outstanding and clean but she has had a few repairs on the clothes. The dress in back has been repaired as can be seen picture. Possibly a metal stand caused the problem. There are two small places on the apron that have been repaired and are hard to see. Possibly a pin or price tag. Thank you and feel free to ask questions. Here is a gorgeous vintage Madame Alexander Alexander-kins, marked “ALEX” on back, bent leg walker dressed as “Wendy Nurse” from 1962, #. This doll has wonderful face color, eyes open and close well, bright cheeks and blue eyes. He wig is in good condition with lots of little curls at her neck. Her walker works with a firm grasp on the legs, but the hips are a bit loose, and she will come with doll stand. Arms are strung well and hold a pose. She wear a blue pinstriped dress with off-white collar and separate off-white apron that ties in the back, socks and shoes. She came to me in this outfit and shoes. The little baby is a replacement that I dressed for her, a little smaller, but still makes a perfect accessory for our Nurse. She is a great find, beautiful doll.
