Stunning 1951 Mystery Portrait Arlene Dahl Maggie Face Doll Madame Alexander. This is the ultimate Madame Alexander rarity! Arlene Dahl is all original. Tagged gown is in fabulous condition. Has original wrist tag. Only issue is part of her right eyelash needs to be replaced. Sleep eyes work well. Hair is still in original set and is 2-tone (highly unusual). Gown is in amazing condition. No rips, stains or tears. Has undergarments and shoes. No odors, from a smoke free pet free home. Only a few of these dolls have ever surfaced! Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity! Madame Alexander Arlene Dahl Doll. I’m not sure if she’s unmarked, or if her markings are. Hidden under her wig. She’s in rough shape. She’s not broken but she has various marks on her body and face. I have not tried to clean her, other than wiping her off, gently, with a damp washcloth. Her eyes still function. Her hair is in the original style, however she has what appears to be moth chews on her wig. She has discoloration on one ear, the other ear has her original earring, which is tarnished. The outer layer of her dress is sun faded. It also has moth chews, the lining seems to be disintegrating, the snaps are all intact but are loose and there are loose threads along the back of the bodice. The under layer is in better condition. Also included is a slip/underwear combo which is probably discolored from age but is free of holes. Her shoes show wear, her stockings have a few small holes not visible when she’s dressed. She’s looking for a home that can help her get back to the beauty that she was. Items pictured are the exact items you will receive. We are a smoke free home. This beautiful Madame Alexander doll is called Arlene Dahl from 1952. I understand a similar doll with blonde hair was called Pink Champagne in the 1951 portrait group. She has red hair and green eyes. Her dress is not tagged. The flowers on her dress are in lovely condition. Her shoes may not be original and she has no stockings. Her dress, panties, necklace, earrings, shoes and hair net are all in good condition. She has some finish loss on her finger tips, a spot on the top of her right forearm, the tops of her thighs on the back of her legs, and the top of her shoulders (see photos). Her sleep eyes dont automatically open, you have to open them for her. Her face paint is in good condition, and she has all her eyelashes. Her hair is in great condition. Her joints are tight. She comes with a newer box labeled Pink Champagne. She is in good condition for her age and would be a great addition to your doll collection. She comes from a smoke free home.
