A beautiful doll with high color cheeks & lips, no rubs. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled hair that still retains the original flower wreath. Her bangs are all there, just some pushed back from storage. Strung just right so she is easy to pose. Some white spots on back of her left leg, no unwanted hard plastic odors. All original tagged tutu with attached matching underwear that are brighter pink than the tutu. Mostly on back there are faded brown dots that look to wash out, some on right sleeve, as pictured. Front of the tutu has very few dots and they are hardly noticeable. Still retains original flower applique on waist and on left shoulder. Back of neck is marked “Alexander”. Hi everyone, here is a pretty vintage Madame Alexander Karen Ballerina composition doll 18in tall, no odors, her hair is in original set, composition to her face is nice, sleep eyes work well, strung & poses, but could stand to be strung a little tighter. See the picture of the composition on her back there are several areas that have good sized lines, but they are stable with no flaking. She is in her original dress, however at some point, someone has tried to ad blue color back into it & it is uneven, feels a little tacky, but does not come off when rubbed, the sheer netting has holes in it in spots, her shoes are original & her black velveteen ribbon on her neck & wrists are original. Despite someone trying to add blue color back to her dress, she is a very beautiful doll with hair in original set. This is one of the most beautiful dolls that Madame Alexander ever made! And that Maribel face, just stunning! She is almost 100% perfect. Her only flaws are that she doesnt have her earrings, no box and she has 2 tears in her tutu. The good news is that you can find replacement earrings and the tears in the tutu are repairable. Now let me brag on this beauty. She wears her original rubber ballet slippers with original laces, she is posable, her complection and all over skin tone is just fabulous, but her original hairdo and band of flowers with original strap are absolutely perfect! Her crystal blue eyes open and close nicely and WOW! The outfit has 4 complete square snaps, a blue satin ribbon at the waist , blue satin bodice and panties with attached tulle. No odors, cracks or splits. I do not know if she has her original stringing. She is clean, fresh and just amazingly beautiful. Wouldnt she make a grand Christmas gift? From you to you! I have reddish blonde hair with my original Madame Alexander barrettes. I have no issues in my body and can hold a pose and stand on my own when wearing my shoes! She is 15.5 inches tall with original upswept brunette hairdo and flowered garland still in tact. She has a stunning face, great coloring, beautiful, clear greenish sleep eyes, full lashes, ruby red lips. Her body is hard plastic and is marked Mme Alexander on her back See picture. Her arms, and face are a softer plastic. Her arms are articulated and bend at the elbow. Her legs bend at the knee and ankles. She has the Madame Alexander circle on her neck with numbers that look like 1938 but I do not think that is the date I tried to research that but really was not able to find out what I needed. If you have any information, I appreciate it. This is a stunning doll and one I hate to part with Nicer in person. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s hard plastic completely jointed 16 Elise ballerina doll with her original tagged gold dress and attached panties. She has lovely unclouded blue eyes fringed by totally intact eyelashes. Her fsce is highlighted by lightly blushed cheeks; lovely and full unfaded lips; and her coloring is even and true on her torso and limbs, but you can see the vinyl on her face is slightly discolored. Her hair is full, thick, and shows no thinning areas. She could use a restyling of hair. She is free of odors, chips, or splits at her seams. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 80 year-old doll. Her head, arms, and legs can somehat hold a pose. Her arms are minorly loose. I see no signs of issues, blemishes, and she is absolutely free of odors. Both of her clear unclouded eyes open and close completely. Her eyes are stunning. She is crowned by her amazing gold and sequins with somewhat still stretchy elastic. Her dress is four layers of flawless elegance. The two snap buttons in the back are well attached. She is simply stunning. Unfortunately, her pantyhose are torn on one side. I will include them so you have something for her until she is outfitted with new hose. She is missing her shoes. She is beautiful and free of issues. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She shows no age or discoloration. She is from a pet and smoke free home and was from the original adult collector’s clean home. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows nothing majorly detracting from her displayable condition. She may show unnoticeable marks on her skin from dressing and undressing. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or major damage. Her hair appears in the original style.
