Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged pink Ballerina dress. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has blonde hair, stitch part. Still in the original lovely curls. The blue eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged pink ballerina tutu dress, it has a satin body suit and crisp net layered skirt adorned with flocked and velvet. She has a matching floral crown adorned with velvet flowers. Her ballet slippers are pink rubber, with rayon ribbon ties, and she wears. Nylon seamed stocking tights. She is in excellent condition for her age!! The dress has no holes, stains and odors. The tutu has it’s original gold lettered tag and snap fasteners are in perfect working order. She’s wearing her original tiara and replacement earrings. The holes on the ears do not go through, so the previous owner added sticky sparkly earrings. The shoes are not gold on this doll, but are vintage pink. The true blonde hair is in its original set with a spanner band on the top holding the curls. Her facial coloring is superb! She’s described in Kiley Shaw’s Elise Files book as follows Elise shimmers in a golden tutu with gold lame bodice trimmed at neck and waist with sequins… Tiara is made of sequins over a clear plastic base.. Here is a beautiful Giselle from the Madame Alexander Ballerina Collection. I do not believe this doll has been displayed, however I can not definitively prove this. The head and torso are connected, but the legs still need to be strung to the torso which also lends to my theory that this Giselle has never been displayed. 1 clear plastic accessories bag still attached to box (sealed and contains ribbon with gold charm and bouquet of flowers). Doll is in amazing condition and will come with the original box. The tissue paper is missing and the box has a few dents and wear normal box wear. Best offers considered and highly encouraged.
