This 14 Madame Alexander hard plastic doll is from the 1950′s. She is all original and in excellent condition. Dressed in her tagged satin gown with stars, matching attached slip, panties, and original shoes (one side broken and glued). Hair is in the original set with net (net torn). The stringing is tight, and she has no odors. There was a stray hair down her forehead when pictures were taken. She is a beautiful Alexander doll. For your vintage 20 Madame Alexander Cissy doll is this very nice auburn or red haired short chignon wig. It has been cleaned and restyled. New ties at the side and a new spanner bar. The wig cap is intact. The wig is not cut, nor is it bald in any areas. It may need a little further restyling at the turn under in the back, as it is hard to get it perfect until it is on a doll. This beautiful Cissy is from 1958. Cissy is wearing the hard to find nautical skirt set with hat. The three-piece skirt set consists of the tagged red box pleated skirt with gold elastic waist, the V-neck jacket with gold buttons and special emblem, and the striped knit shirt with red satin accent bow and button-down back. Also included are the original flat brimmed hat, slip, panties, gold high heels, and special replacement coin earrings and excellent replacement stockings. Her jacket could use a light soak to brighten it up but will leave that decision to new owner. The elastic on the slip has been replaced since the original elastic was stretched out, and panties have a small hole at one leg opening near the lace trim. Lovely, red head Cissy wearing only her earrings. Made by Madame Alexander in the 1950s. She is 20 inches tall with sleep eyes, full lashes and a fully jointed hard plastic body; all joints work well. Her wig with great red hair is in the original style and good condition. The doll is in excellent, original condition with no damage, splits or cracks. She could use light cleaning to remove a couple marks at her waist and a rub mark at the neck socket. Cissy is dressing for an evening out. She is wearing a very nice bra, girdle, and garter set in excellent condition. I believe the undergarments were made by Premier, but there are no tags. The elastic in the girdle is in wonderful condition for its age, with no stretching or relaxing to the elastic. The items are clean and have no signs of play or display wear. There is also a second bra that came with this set. It has a little different pattern to it, but the same style. I have added a new pair of nylons. Cissy herself is very clean and has no odors, cracks, stains or chews. She has had a small repair done to a 1/4 split in the crotch seam. It is very thin, but I was able to get some bonding material inside the split. She has some small scratches on her back and a couple on her buttocks. She has a couple of faint smudge type stains on her upper arms. She is newly restrung to head and arms. Her arms are a nice match and have no rips or tears in the socket area. She has earring holes. She has had new blush and matte sealer applied. Her lips and brows are repainted. Her eyes have full lashes and they have been reset. Her hair is clean and retains it’s original curls.
