This is a Madame Alexander Cissy dress from 1956 #2043. Madame Alexander Made 3 variations of the torso gown. Comes with her black tulle slip with attached panties. Her tag is present but faded. She likely had more flowers at shoulders and in the gown. She has a few pin holes in the tulle and flounce but they don’t really show. There is some fading near the hem. The dress shows beautifully. There are no rips. Hard to Find Dress. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. This is a 21 (approximately) Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from 1955 #2051 and has her hand tag. She is dressed in her crisp tagged black taffeta dress with rhinestone brooch at bust line. She has on a replaced shawl but it is from a very long time ago so color has faded. She is in beautiful condition. Comes with pink slip, pink panties(has a small tear see picture)nylons, black strappy heels and replaced bracelet. She carries her plastic handbag filled with a comb and sunglasses. Her blonde hair is in original set with some flyaways and she has her pink hat with flowers and chin strap atop her head, no holes in netting on hat. Her face paint is beautiful with full lashes top and bottom, good brows, rosey cheeks and dark pink coral lips. Stringing seems good and she holds a pose. It is hard to find dolls in this wonderful condition any more. I have had her in my collection for a very long time. She is over 60 years old but doesnt look it. MADAME ALEXANDER 8 Kins doll in a perfect pink dress with an adorable black with pink roses print apron. She has matching pink older socks with black shoes, yes with fuzzy bottoms. She is a lovely redhead with a perfect hair style in its original set. Notice her wonderful face coloring. Her walker mechanism doesn’t work anymore but her stringing is sufficient for displaying. The elastic in both sleeves is stretched out. As for the hat it is newer but is still made by the Madame Alexander company. Possibly for one of the conventions. This dolls hair and face coloring is absolutely perfect. No international orders and thank you so much for looking. Update I found the box I got her in. Please see photo #12. Box says AU BURN 400. Cissy is clean and has no odors, stains, splits or cracks or repairs to such. She has been newly restrung to head and arms. She has nice arms with no rips in the socket area or issues with her fingers. Her hair has been cleaned and reset. Her original wig is full and shiny with no cuts or trims. Her lips have been repainted and blush was added. A matte protective finish was applied to her face. She has no earring holes. She has beautiful blue eyes. Both eyes have had some lash fill in. She stands and posses fine. Right leg is a little loose at the hip, but it is attached inside of body and is not swingy. Just a lovely girl! Cissy is wearing a reproduction black cocktail dress. It is made from new, lovely black silk taffeta. The bodice is lined with black organdy. The skirt is 8″ long with a 2″ hand stitched hem. The waist is serged. The skirt is a full 65 circle when laid out. There are 5 original black square snaps going down the back and the front is adorned with an original gold brooch. Under her dress she wears her original pink can can slip with pink rick rack trim. Also her original panties. Both slip and panties have been hand laundered and new elastic inserted at the waist. She wears her original nylons in very nice condition, silver diamond studded bracelet, and diamond ring. She has a replacement hang tag and a new lucite purse made in the original fashion with black velvet straps and flower adornment. Inside the purse is a vintage plastic lipstick and a metal can of rouge. Stand and chair are not included. This listing will end on Sunday, August 18th. Here for your consideration is a vintage 10 Madame Alexander Presents Cissette Doll from the 50′s. This is #973 that I believe came out around 1957 or so. This doll has blonde hair in the original fancy do and blue eyes. Her facial paint is amazing for her age with rosy cheeks and pink lips. She is wearing a black velvet strapped gown trimmed in black sequins. Topping that is a white ermine capelet adorned with flowers. She has sparkling rhinestone drop earrings and a matching bracelet. She has white underwear, a blue slip, hose and black strappy heeled sandals. This is a beautiful little doll. There is some faint black staining on her torso from the black gown and she has a slightly musty odor but not too bad. Her hangtag is missing but there is a booklet showcasing the Cissette dolls. This is another of Madame Alexander’s exquisite Cissy dolls in a perfect black taffeta dress with a brooch on the bodice neckline along with a matching black lace stole, topped off with a lovely pale pink Madame Alexander hat with white and pink flowers which compliments her long red hair in its bob style. She still carries her Lucite pocketbook which holds her sunglasses and curlers and has wonderful flowers on the outside along with the black velvet carry handle to match the dress. There is a couple of melted areas on the left 2 corners of the Lucite which does not take away from its look. The correct slip with pink rick rack trim is included along with the black strappy shoes, hose and under pants. Also notice her hankie, bracelet and ring to finish off the outfit. As for this beautiful Cissy doll she is in very good to excellent condition except for the inch and a half hairline separation in her upper right thigh. Please look carefully at my photo. Her left leg is fine. There are no tears to her arms or any splits. I do check my dolls with a strong flash light for any damage as I do not generally undress my dolls. Eyes are great with all her lashes present. No odors and was kept smoke and sunlight free. Her stringing is great!!! No international orders and Thank you so much for looking. This doll is the Black Widow Cissy mentioned on Page #46 of The Cissy Files, Often seen with older wig from Binnie-Skull cap of rubber with rooted hair and thinker bangs. This is that Cissy. A rare find in excellent condition. There are no cracks, splits, chews, or odors to the doll. The only issue is on her left arm. The rhinestone and elastic bracelet she was wearing was stuck to her arm. When it was removed it left the tiny black marks that you see on her wrist. I do know that gloves will cover the marks, and if you want I will include the bracelet to cover them. The doll has gorgous blue eyes that work as they should, and all of her eyelashes.
