Cissette is wearing the 1958 bridal wreath gown. The bridal wreath is made of cotton embroidered on tulle. It has a bodice of white organdy covered tulle and an attached tulle shawl with cotton embroidered blossoms down the bodice front. The dress is yellowed from age. Cissette wears a crown of flowers with a tulle veil attached in the back. The flowers are very badly yellowed. There are no holes or repairs that I have found in the dress. I did see a small yellow spot at the hem. The bouquet matches the little flowers that are in the crown of the veil and are slightly less yellowed. Under the dress are the original slip and panties. There is an additional newer slip underneath to give more volume to the gown. The seamed hose have no holes but are loose. Her original silver shoes look good. Cissette herself is in very good condition with the three stitch wig. Her head is a bit loose. She has nice cheek and lip color. Her left side head seam under the earring is visible. Her eyes sometimes stick. Her earrings and necklace are vintage Premier and not original to Cissette. This is a Stunning Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in #916 tagged crisp version of the Navy Blue Taffeta Dress. She has high color to her cheeks. In her book Cissette A Complete Guide to the Madame Alexander Dolls by Marjorie E Merrod M. She states that this dress is a variation with the blue and white sheer blue and white dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset. The organdy has not aged in color as viewed in person. The tagged taffeta dress is in super crisp clean excellent condition. Cissette is a 9 inch hard plastic doll in very clean condition. She is also wearing her basic clean and pristine chemise under the dress. Her hard plastic torso has pink color transfer front and back (below the waist). She is also wearing red elastic high heels and small rhinestone earrings. Her hard plastic body is super clean with tight joints, Her arms hold a pose and her medium blond zig zag stitched wig is absolutely beautiful. It is in the original very very shiny set with long curls to the nape of her neck. She has high color to her cheeks, peach eyelids, pink nail polish, full face paint and coral pink lips. Smoke and pet free. Additional: The color transfer, particularly red/pink, is usually from something she once wore. At the time this doll was produced, red dyes were very unstable, not like today. If you laundered an article of red clothing with your “whites”, you would have pink whites at the end. So she wore something red at one point in her life. Hi, This is a Hard to find 1963 Madame Alexander 10 inch Cissette Doll Pristine Mint in Box. This doll is Gorgeous! She has Clear Blue eyes that open and close. Her face has original “High Color” painted features. Her Blonde Hair wig is Clean and Very Shiny in Original pulled up do style with a cluster of curls at the top and nape of neck. She has Sparkly rhinestone earrings, a faux rhinestone ring on her finger, and Gold elastic rhinestone Bracelet to match her Gold elastic High Heel shoes. Madame Alexander Doll Cissette Outfit Watercolor Skirt Pink Blouse Box HTF 1958. The #815 which came in many variations. I added a very tlc Cissette gold foil belt that was loose in my mom’s Alexander collection(as the belt was missing and there also is no hat). It is the thinner belt which went to this skirt(the wide belts only came with the skirts without the gold metallic). Its in the cissette ID book on two pages I showed it in the close ups. Reference book Not Included and Cissette Doll Model not included just a model to show you how it displays. Skirt is in between excellent and mint. No holes or tears. Beautiful coloring on the skirt does not look like it was displayed much at all. Few very tiny very minor age spots which are extremely hard to see. Blouse some aging spots shown in the close ups biggest one going toward under the arm. You can display with out cleaning. Not dingy just areas of the aging spots. There is a tiny pin hole in two spots on the blouse it looks like there may of been a broach displayed on the blouse. Right next to it minor spot of a shiny residue spot. Snaps good, no major holes besides the two pin holes. Few minor snag pull threads the blouse is a silky nylon feel material. Box missing most of the plastic. There is pen writing on the lid in one area and another has a marker mark out on it. Some wear and age to the box. Minor corner crushes, few small tears. Box has some damage however the structure is still stable on it. Belt(is not included in the price just a throw in) is extremely tlc and fragile. You can carefully put it on the doll as I have shown in one the photos but most of the foil is gone and it has aged and is fraying. From my moms estate a long time collector. Photos taken in indirect natural sunlight. It is a very displayable outfit.
