Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Brunette, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged long pink ruffled tulle dress. White slip, pink horsehair hat, pink. & silver strappy high heel shoes. Pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has brunette hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The dress is tagged, it is pink net tulle in ruffled rows sprinkled with rhinestones and tiny rosette trim. She has a white taffeta slip with net flounce, pink panties, silver strappy high heels (the elastic has lost most of the stretch so they are loose) and a pink horsehair hat with the chin strap and a pink rose on the brim. She has blonde hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, she has a fancy up-do tied with the original threads on top and curls in the back, it is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring, pierced ears with pearl earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The gown is tagged, it is a pink silk negligee with lace trim, pink ribbon streamers. Underneath she wears pink taffeta panties, original seamed nylon stockings and white plastic molded high heels. Here’s an enchanting vintage Madame Alexander Cissette doll from the 1950s. She comes wearing a lovely tagged Madame Alexander Cissette Melinda gown which is from 1969. She also comes wearing her original crinoline, panties, hose, replacement high heel shoes, vintage straw hat and vintage beaded choker necklace. Shoes have pretty little rhinestones. Her dress is gorgeous with layers of pink ruffled lace and a flower with pink satin ribbon at the waist. Ties in a bow at the back. The sash has a faint spot on it but is easily hidden when the sash is tied in a bow. I added the beautiful 1950s vintage hat. It’s not original to the outfit but looks very lovely with the gown. All of her clothes and accessories are in very good to excellent condition. Her lovely face is somewhat pale with lightly blushed cheeks and coral lips. Her eyes open and shut. Her brown wig is very pretty and in its original style. Her body has bent knees and is in excellent condition. Her stringing is perfect and she displays beautifully. Some of the photos show a couple of stray hairs across her face. These are just fly away hairs from her wig, not scratches. Madame Alexander’s Cissette. One of the most beautiful Cissette’s I have ever seen! This rare Cissette and her outfit are both in pristine condition in the original box. Outfit #731 is tagged and complete. Her stringing is tight and she poses beautifully. Her blond hair is in its original style which is a flip hair-do. She has beautiful facial coloring. She wears her gorgeous blue lace dress which is crisp and unplayed with. The blue color looks new and has not faded to purple as is the case with most of these dresses. There are no marks, holes, tears, stains, fading or odors of any kind. Her blue hat is adorned with full, uncrushed flowers in original colors surrounded with blue tulle netting. The elastic on her gold shoes has not relaxed. Cissette’s crinoline and underwear are also mint with elastic that has not relaxed. She wears her original pearl drop earrings. This rare doll comes in her original box. Cissette comes from a clean, non-smoking and odor-free home. This is THE DOLL for serious collectors. This is a gorgeous never played with Madame Alexander-kins hard to find 1962 Gibson Girl Doll. She measures 9 and all original with tagged outfit. She has fabulous face coloring with eyes that open and close easily, bright pink cheeks, no rubs and rhinestone earrings and rhinestone ring dot. Her purple outfit is in excellent condition with blouse, velvet skirt, slip, undies, nylons and black shoes, some elastic stretch to the shoes and few marks on the skirt that might brush out, see photo. Cissette is ready for the Halloween Masquerade Ball in her elegant and fabulous pumpkin dress. 10 high, she is fully articulated and has green eyes paired with dramatic upswept white hair reminiscent of the powdered wigs that were fashionable in the 18th Century. Her fantastic pumpkin dress has a fitted green Dupioni bodice overlaid with black lace and has a scoop neckline which is enhanced by orange/black ric-rac and gold trim. A peplum of green leaves extends over the orange pumpkin skirt, which is overlaid by black tulle. Black and orange lace, looking quite like the tendrils of a pumpkin plant, finishes the bottom of the hem. Cissette is beautifully accessorized with black fishnet lace hose, orange mules with black trim, and a black felt witch’s hat trimmed with orange/white/brown ribbons, feathers and the sculpt of an owl.
