Madame Alexander Dolls

This very sweet Lissy doll from the late 1950s is still pretty much like she came from her original box, which I do not have. I have never undressed her and don’t think she had ever been undressed or played with before I got her. Her blue check taffeta dress is crisp and tagged. Her flocked slip and taffeta panties are equally crisp and with good elastic. Her seamed stockings appear perfect. The elastic on her original wedge shoes has relaxed a little, but looks fine with her on a stand. The stockings could be removed and a pair of Lissy socks used, which would help the elastic fit more snugly. Her white pinafore, which has buttons and a snap for closure, is not as white as when new and shows a little discoloration in the bodice. The fabric is a muslin type and trimmed with lace. The pinafore would respond very well to a soak to bring it back to its original whiteness. The elastic in the sleeves of the dress is snug, and the neckline is trimmed with white baby rickrack. It snaps in the back. Lissy is 11.5 inches tall and was made by Madame Alexander. I’m guessing she is from 1958, but could be off a year one way or the other. Her auburn hair is in its original factory set with a cute hair bow. Lissy is all hard plastic and has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. I don’t see any cracks around her elbow joints or knee joints. Arms hold a pose, and head is not loose. Her eyes open and close with ease. I see blue in them, but the pupils are large so not sure if she was considered one of the pupil-less Lissy’s. She is from a smoke-free home and does not come with a stand or box. This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. This is #2141 Cissy from 1957. The only exception is the white hat box, it is a reproduction and not Madame Alexander. It has been replaced with a pair of white gloves. Her eyes are perfectly centered with white whites. I know of no bodily damage to her. Her complete outfit is in amazing condition with the white collar being WHITE!! Her dress is wonderful and she has her original slip as well. I have an extra slip on her for display which is included. Please refer to my pics and feel free to ask questions. She is in magnificent condition and as far as I know has never been redressed. She has wonderful little accessories. Let me say that her hat is in hard to find condition, no damage at all.. She has her original wig and it is in the original style. She is also an Infused doll with no alterations at all!!! She has a watch in wonderful condition as one of her accessories. Also, a vintage ring and earrings (original), with an added bracelet. DIONNE QUINTUPLETS – COMPLETE SET – COMPOSITION BABIES. WITH WOODEN ANIMAL CHAIRS – - Circa: 1935 – 1945. These dolls are from a smoke free home and has no odors. Oh what fun you can have posing these very cute Dionne Quintuplets. These Quints are babies and the size is 8 inches tall. The size of the animal chairs are appox. 8 inches long by 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. For price reference see page #16 in the book,’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. This is a complete set of Quints with wooden animal chairs and 5 diapers. They are all original with their original clothes, bonnets, and metal name pins. DIONNE QUINTUPLETS – VINTAGE COMPOSITION – COMPLETE SET OF FIVE. ALL ORIGINAL – CIRCA: 1935 – 1945. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. This is a complete and original set of 5 Dionne Quintuplets. They are 8 inch toddlers. For reference see page #16 in’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. I do not have their boxes. They are so cute – how can you not love them? Each has her original dress; diaper; underskirt; name bib; bonnet; and knit slippers. Each has a different color in the ribbon on the bonnet and slippers and name on bib. I had questioned the originality of the slippers but on careful examination; the ribbon on the slippers is the exact ribbon (color & stitching & color fading) that is on the bonnets. The color also matches exactly the names on their bibs. They are painted eye and molded hair. And of course, those brown side glancing eye’s. There is no repainting as examined by a black light. All have all their fingers. Two of them have a very tiny nose paint chip off (must have fallen at one point) and a third has crazing down the forehead. There is no crazing on the bodies. MA Vintage Cissy Clothes, Accessoris Complete Outfits, Includes Undies, Shoes. The vintage tagged MA Cissy dress came as a boxed extra and is considered hard to find. It can be seen in THE CISSY FILES by. The dress is in wonderful crisp condition with vibrant color but has two drawbacks. Original McDonald’s Happy Meal complete SET of twelve MIP (Mint in Package) toys from 2008 featuring MADAME ALEXANDER all dressed up like the Wizard of Oz! These gorgeous dolls measure in at just about 5 inches tall. They have the signature wrist tag found on the full size dolls. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Doll in Complete Pink Bride Outfit Tagged – 1956. What a darling Cissy girl dating back to 1956. Beautiful Cissy is sporting her complete pink bride ensemble. The bouquet is a replacement. The gown has all of its original decorative pieces, the tag is euc, there are no holes or discoloration in the fabric, all MA square snaps are present and without rust, I have added an additional fuller mommy made slip to give the gown a much fuller look, and added a vintage lacy beige garter all brides should have a garter right? Cissy girls darling hat with attached vail has no tears or discoloration. Very adorable looking on our girl dont you think? What is extra nice to see, is that this lovely gown and matching vail has never been laundered and therefore has lots of life left. Cissy is wearing a pair of MA original taffeta off white panties trimmed at legs with lace and the elastic still has plenty of elasticity, MA seamed Cissy stockings with no holes and no runs, slightly lose elasticity on upper stockings but they easily stay in place on their own. Her silver strappy shoes are very good, the pearl earrings are original to outfit, the ring had been added a very long time ago and the metal has discolored her finger underneath it. Cissys hair is perfectly styled and beautiful, no missing hair on her head, and the color is all even, clean and shiny. Cissy has no fractures or splits in her plastic body and there are no tears in her rubber arms, and no bad odors to this doll. Cissy has had her lashes fully replaced long ago which looks just great with eyes open, when closed you have a better view (please see picture). Cissys blue eyes are lovely and she has no problem opening and closing them, her stringing is all very good and she will pose whatever way that pleases you. Madame Alexander came out with our beloved Cissy doll mid 1955 and the Cissy Pink Bride came to be in 1956, so she is definitely one of the older Cissy girls. A Vision In Red. This stunning lady (#2285 from 1958) is known to many as The Lady In Red, and this near mint example is a very special Cissy… Her crisply tagged heavy taffeta gown is flawless, except for one pinpoint size dark speck on the bottom left side of the skirt. Her original tulle shawl has two small holes amid all the folds behind the original silver star pin, and this obviously! Is an “invisible” flaw! Cissy wears the original red taffeta slip, and underneath her original hosiery & silver sandals. This Cissy did NOT originally wear a bracelet, but I added this vintage pearl bracelet to compliment her original choker and earrings. It seems some LIRs had a clear rhinestone ring, others a red one… This ring is clear, but I have the vintage red rhinestone ring should you prefer it. Cissy has gorgeous features & all original coloring. Her dark blonde wig is perfection, thick with stacks of curls unique to this wig. She had a very small, narrow separation at the top of her right hip, inside her body cavity, which has been professionally repaired. Also, which is ironically further proof your LIR is original! Cissy has some light red staining on parts of her torso, a result of over 60 years in her beautiful gown. Cissy has crystal clear very-blue eyes with full lashes, and no splits, cracks or odors. We offer for your consideration an undisplayed late 1960s Madame Alexander 18 Elise doll with her (shows wear) box. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 60 year-old doll. Both of her eyes open completely. She was tilted back at an angle, which made her eyelids show. Both eyes open completely and both eyes close easily with no stickiness. Her left eye appears like it will not completely open, but it is a factory flaw of an extra piece of plastic, which was not properly painted. We offer her as she was found. A fellow ebayer pointed out that this hat was a more modern addition, it will be included it because it was in the box. The original pink tissue paper and other tissue paper pieces were in the box. I found her original tissue paper still between her legs. The original hang tag is included, but it became unattached. She was only rarely removed from her box by the original adult collector. The doll and box were stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her four layer dress is fresh and crisp with only the most minor and unnoticeable sign of age related discoloration, along the bottom edge, on the one top layer. I feel the photographs portray it well. She shows no other age or discoloration. Please note her easy open and close eyes. She still wears her factory hair style in mostly a neat and tidy coiffe. The pins holding her hair in place are all original. She was stored with the plastic over her head. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She still wears her amazing cut ring with many facets; the ring creates a prism of rainbows. It was created with true craftsmanship just like the many other attributes she displays. Her necklace and earrings are picturesque and original. Her velveteen slippers with heels are intact and beautiful with her perfect pantyhose. Her panties were never removed; therefore, they still enjoy stretchy elastic. Her straw hat is incredible and colorful. She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her torso and limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Enjoy her easy clear and unclouded open and close eyes with complete eyelashes. She is a soft vinyl plastic face doll. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I did not remove her clothing, but I was able to check her over visually. I assure you she is complete and whole. Please write with any questions. The front of the box shows numerous stains. Although the box shows wear, I believe it is still displayable. The top of the front of the box shows small blemish scrapes. The bottom of the box has intact corners, but the top half of the box has three corners with split seams on the edges.
