(Doll needs to be re-strung). Her dress is in excellent condition, except for one very tiny pin hole on the front and in the back on her ties is a tear on one side but does not show in the bow. Once re-strung it is a beautiful collector’s addition.

Her eyes open and close. She has fine crazing allover. The shoes miss half of outsoles. Her head feels loose, the doll might need to be restring in the future.

She is 17 tall. She is marked Sonja Henie on the back of her head. She has great composition with very little crazing and no cracks or lifting. She is tightly strung and will hold a pose. Original velvet outfit with sequins.

1941 Madame Alexander Jeannie Walker 13 1/2 Composition Blue Pinafore Dress. This Jeannie Walker has crazing over her body and some fine cracks on her face. Her color is quite good and her stringing still has good tension. No chips; normal wear at arm sockets, neck and fingertips. Paint wear at waist probably from doll stand. Mohair wig in good condition. Her dress is not tagged but is Madame Alexander quality – I believe it to be original. A blue pinafore with attached half slip, it is worn over a lace trimmed, dotted Swiss blouse. Original socks and hat. 1941 Madame Alexander Jeannie Walker 13 1/2 Composition Yellow Dress. A nice Jeannie Walker with original tagged dress. Small cracks on thumbs, no cracks or crazing anywhere else that I can find. One chip on head on left side near neck. Some wear on fingertips. Normal paint wearing at armpits and neck. Good color, pink cheeks and knees. Yellow dress with lace trim is in nice shape; there is one hole near left sleeve. A pink sash has been added but the original ribbon is still present. Attached pink slip and matching pink panties look great. Socks and hat appear vintage, possibly original. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need more photos.

This vintage Madame Alexander doll is a must-have for any collector. Measuring 15 inches in length, the Kate Greenway doll is made of composition material and dates back to the 1930s. She is beautiful and all original! There are some craze lines around her eyes and small marks on her composition here and there, but overall a really lovely example of this doll.
