Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 Doll, 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta Dress w/Hat. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 doll wearing 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta tagged dress, matching yellow slip/petticoat and black hat with flowers. Cissy has blonde hair with spanner bar, hard plastic body and nice blue eyes, all lashes are present. Her body is nice condition, no splits or cracks, her head on lower right side has a small separation, I’ve included a close up photo of this. Her ears are pierced but she’s missing her earrings. Her yellow floral taffeta dress is tagged, excellent condition, very vibrant and full, near mint except it’s missing it’s cameo. She has the matching yellow slip and it’s nice but the waist elastic is streched out a bit. Her hat is original corridinating hat with yellow flowers, it is warped from storage but might be pressed down. Her stocking has a tiny hole at bottom, shoes are not original and she’s missing undies. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Brunette wig with side swept bangs, curls. Tagged tulle party gown with hat. Rhinestone drop earrings, necklace. White strappy high heels. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Medium brunette hair, the hair has a frizzy texture, styled nicely in curls, held with hair pins and hair net, side swept bangs. Sparkling green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings and wears a rhinestone necklace with clasp. There are a few light finish rubs in the joints and the neck under the head. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged garden part gown. The gown has a full skirt of ivory color tulle, the tulle is over all excellent, a small tear on the side, there was a. Design in pink and green on the tulle which has mostly faded, it is sprinkled with small silk flowers and prong set rhinestones. The attached lining and underskirt is organdy. The dress is tagged Cissy, the label is faded but can be read on inspection. She wears a white muslin petticoat underneath with a wire hoop. The hat is fabulous, it is lavender with a woven wide brim, curved shape, covered with lilacs, flocked and velvet flowers, a tiny blue bird sits on the brim, comes with a hat pin. She has white lace panties and white plastic strappy high heel shoes. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only, no stand. Pink woven hat with silk and velvet flowers. Pearl drop earrings and wired pearl necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed vinyl arms. Stitched part tosca color wig in a fancy hair styled pulled up on the sides and tied with curls in the back. Green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has pearl drop earrings and a matching pearl necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful tagged Cissy dress made of fine pink tulle with tiny raised white dots, it has an attached pink underskirt which looks like a fine Batiste. The dress has short puff sleeves and a pink satin ribbon sash. The dress is in excellent vintage. Clean, sturdy, no stains, there are a few small holes which do not show when on. Is a full taffeta slip with inner net tulle ruffle and matching pink panties The shoes are pink stain pumps with clear sparkly heels. The hat is woven like horsehair with a wide brim, it is. This is another great estate find! This is an untagged, authentic 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy blue Bridesmaid gown and original headpiece. Has 1 hole in the tulle overlay, which I didn’t even notice until closely inspecting it. Also has some light soil spots, in several areas, which are a bit hard to see unless your looking up close. Here is a complete outfit for your vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. It consists of a tagged dress, tagged slip, hat, purse, necklace, and high heels. The dress has always been one of my favorite day dresses for Cissy, and it is in excellent, unwashed condition. Rhinestones are intact and very sparkly, and the lace has not aged–nice and white. Has four secure square snaps down the back and an excellent “Cissy” tag. The white taffeta slip is tagged and has the red grosgrain bow, which makes it a much harder-to-find Cissy slip. The original elastic is still incredibly tight, and the slip has not been washed. It does have two pinholes–one straight down from the red bow, which you can see through the netting, and the other is on the back of the slip and can be seen in the picture of the tag. The slip has retained most of its original white color. The hat with open crown was made by rtrorich and is tagged Richard Original. The tan straw is edged with a pretty glossy red straw, with a bow in the back of the same straw. Richard later made the purse/shopping bag for me. It is of a different straw, but the same red straw trim was used. A pair of France Depose sunglasses are hanging over the edge. Works very well, as one earpiece is missing. If you have an earpiece in the clear plastic, then you would have a useful pair of sunglasses. As they are, they are a neat decoration for the bag. Necklace consists of a very narrow vintage red ribbon, which holds a lightly-engraved locket, and ties in the back of the neck. Included is a pair of newer-made red high heels. Probably original Cissy lasts, but not sure. I have shown the outfit on a Cissy doll, which is not included, so you can see how it would look on your Cissy. A great outfit to add to your collection!
