We are offering a gorgeous Vintage Cissy by Madame Alexander. We believe this Cissy came in pink, blue, lavender and yellow; Yellow being offered here. Dress is in a very good condition – no spots, repairs, or any damage. Flowers on the dress are a little bit misshapen. Underwear has some blue spots in a a few places as seen on the photo. The doll has a tiny spot of chipped paint on the tip of her nose; 1/4 blue pen mark on her right arm; some loss of glossy paint on her neck under her chin, and on her legs where they attach to the body; small spot of lost paint on her right breast; her right foot has a few marks on a side and on the back that look like a bite of a puppy or a kitten. Her eyes open and close, but not as freely as I have seen in other dolls. Otherwise, this Cissy is in very good condition, and can be a highlight to any collection. Stand is not included. 20″ hard plastic fifties vintage Cissy doll redhead with untouched hair, high color beautiful face, “diamond earrings, her original MA velvet formal jacket with ribbon and floral trim. She is missing the original white sleeveless organdy shirt.. And her skirt is a replacement Madame Alexander Cissy skirt with slightly loose elastic at the waist. There is a MA full underslip to give full poufy body to the pleated skirt. She is wearing replacement stockings and shoes and there is a hole in one foot of the stockings. She has a small thigh split and tiny, inside the body top splits on the legs.. She has a diamond ring and a glorious, extra “modern” evening dress with a confection of tulle gathers and a silky underskirt.
