Madame Alexander Dolls

Sweet and pretty Elise doll from the 1950′s good condition but could use some help with her hair (I think it was in a pony tail), please see pictures. The doll has original coloring as far as I know , all her eyelashes and has pretty crystal earrings that would date the doll to the late 1950′s. This pink outfit is not original for this doll although it is a beautiful very good condition Elise outfit. Also included is an outfit a little more suited for her # 2564 tagged Jumper dressing blouse from 1958, which includes a red slip, white shoes (new), and a hat. Not sure that the slip or hat are original but vintage. The jumper dress and blouse could stand to be cleaned but I have not done that. An Elise box is included, probably from the same time period of the pink 1960′s outfit. Please check all the pictures and ask questions if needed. Perfect hair set in factory style with floral headpiece. Vivid facial coloring, no splits or cracks. She comes with the Bridemaids clear purse and handkerchief, stockings, pearl bracelets, and strap heels. She has her tagged dress and pink sash. The netting on the dress has tears in it, including on the front a rather large one, and in the back there is a rip in the dress that has been stitched. The dress is a shirtwaist style in a sheer shell pink embossed fabric and is in excellent condition. It is pictured on page #61 of the Elise Files. The third picture shows that this dress matches the Cissy dress #2231 that sells for a very huge price. How perfect to have her sister wearing the matching dress. This is very hard to find and just as beautiful as the dress Cissy wears. The only difference I can see are the buttons. They are white buttons rather than rhinestones. Otherwise they look identical. This comes with a crisp lace slip to give the dress a nice full look. This is for the DRESS AND SLIP only for Elise Not Cissy. No odors Just might need a little ironing. No hat but easy to replace. I cannot do justice to this gorgeous ensemble made for your vintage Madame Alexander Elise doll. It will also fit Madame Alexander’s 16 inch Cleo and other of the Alexander 16 inch Elise-like bodied dolls. It will not fit the modern, 17 Elise dolls. The dress is luscious, beautifully made of spring green dotted Swiss printed with pale yellow rose buds. Lace adorns the neckline and sparkling rhinestones decorate the bodice. A wide yellow satin ribbon with long ties circles the waist and ties in back. The picture-perfect hat and bag are by Richard, of course. They are made of pale green, lacy “straw” and are decorated with large, open white flowers. The labeled hat has Richard’s signature small rhinestone on the edge of a flower petal. A pair of light green taffeta panties are included. The shoes are a modern reproduction of Elise spike heels. The bases are silver, the linings white and the elastic straps are a very pale pink, which looks so nice with the dress. Vintage Madame Alexander Elise Bride with Marybel face, wearing 1963 “Layers of Lace” dress. This blonde Elise has a Marybel face with blue open-shut sleep eyes. She is made of plastic and is fully jointed. Elise wears a long dress with 2 layers of nylon tulle trimmed with 4 layers of gathered val lace along the hem. The bodice also has 4 layers of gathered val lace, and is tied with a big white satin bow. She has ALL of her original accessories. Floral wreath and veil. This doll is from my childhood. She has always been in a non-smoking house, and has no funky storage smell. The rubber-band like attachments for Elise’s head, arms, and legs have deteriorated, and so need to be replaced/restrung. According to the internet, this is easy. I have not examined the clothing super carefully, but I haven’t seen any other problems. Please see the photographs for condition. Vintage Alexander Elise bride doll from the 1950s. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. She measures approximately 16 inches tall. Veil headpiece shows wear consistent with age.
