Madame Alexander Dolls

We offer for your consideration an undisplayed late 1960s Madame Alexander 18 Elise doll with her (shows wear) box. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 60 year-old doll. Both of her eyes open completely. She was tilted back at an angle, which made her eyelids show. Both eyes open completely and both eyes close easily with no stickiness. Her left eye appears like it will not completely open, but it is a factory flaw of an extra piece of plastic, which was not properly painted. We offer her as she was found. A fellow ebayer pointed out that this hat was a more modern addition, it will be included it because it was in the box. The original pink tissue paper and other tissue paper pieces were in the box. I found her original tissue paper still between her legs. The original hang tag is included, but it became unattached. She was only rarely removed from her box by the original adult collector. The doll and box were stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her four layer dress is fresh and crisp with only the most minor and unnoticeable sign of age related discoloration, along the bottom edge, on the one top layer. I feel the photographs portray it well. She shows no other age or discoloration. Please note her easy open and close eyes. She still wears her factory hair style in mostly a neat and tidy coiffe. The pins holding her hair in place are all original. She was stored with the plastic over her head. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She still wears her amazing cut ring with many facets; the ring creates a prism of rainbows. It was created with true craftsmanship just like the many other attributes she displays. Her necklace and earrings are picturesque and original. Her velveteen slippers with heels are intact and beautiful with her perfect pantyhose. Her panties were never removed; therefore, they still enjoy stretchy elastic. Her straw hat is incredible and colorful. She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her torso and limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Enjoy her easy clear and unclouded open and close eyes with complete eyelashes. She is a soft vinyl plastic face doll. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I did not remove her clothing, but I was able to check her over visually. I assure you she is complete and whole. Please write with any questions. The front of the box shows numerous stains. Although the box shows wear, I believe it is still displayable. The top of the front of the box shows small blemish scrapes. The bottom of the box has intact corners, but the top half of the box has three corners with split seams on the edges. Here I have a beautiful near mint Elise doll from the 1950s. She is wearing her original tagged satin gown in very nice condition along with her original earrings. She has no rub marks, no scratches, no breaks, no odors and she is strung right. She has full lashes on clear bright strait eyes that open and close as they should. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1958 to 1962 Elise 15 doll wearing her stunning untagged swiss polka dot dress and lovely hat. She is from a pet and smoke free home and free of odors. Her face is a lovely and even tone with lightly blushed cheeks. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her hair is a magnificent rich and thick strawberry blonde color with a pretty upturned curl. She is very close to the factory condition. –She was restrung. Her priginal elastic bands were removed, and they were replaced with new elastic cording. Her head is securely attached, and it does not droop, but it is not quite as tight as when she was fresh out of the factory. Her arms and legs are well attached, and her arms pose nicely. Her eyelashes are intact and undamaged; however, she may be missing a lash on her left eye near the nose side. Her right eyebrow is nice, dark, and distinct. Her left eyebrow is minorly faded on the ear side. — —- She is a vision of beauty. The condition of her body and limbs is very clean and displayable. Her legs have no cracks or open seams. They both bend at the knee very nicely. Her jointed softer vinyl arms are very clean and pretty. Her unclouded eyes are stunning and bright. Her sleep eyes open and close as they should. — ——This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 60 year-old doll. — —You can see that her untagged dress is in pretty and very displayable condition. It is free of snags, holes, or thinning. I do see some noticeable fading on the front bodice and the top half of the skirt. The snap buttons are nicely attached. — —-The heels are beautiful vintage replacements. Her hat is a perfect and elegant addition to this lovely doll. The hat is intact with jo flaws or holes. The ties are gorgeous, and I notice no flaws. Her entire outfit is free of odors, issues, or signs of discoloration. The panties appear still bright, and they are pinned on to her. —She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. This is one of the most beautiful dolls that Madame Alexander ever made! And that Maribel face, just stunning! She is almost 100% perfect. Her only flaws are that she doesnt have her earrings, no box and she has 2 tears in her tutu. The good news is that you can find replacement earrings and the tears in the tutu are repairable. Now let me brag on this beauty. She wears her original rubber ballet slippers with original laces, she is posable, her complection and all over skin tone is just fabulous, but her original hairdo and band of flowers with original strap are absolutely perfect! Her crystal blue eyes open and close nicely and WOW! The outfit has 4 complete square snaps, a blue satin ribbon at the waist , blue satin bodice and panties with attached tulle. I have reddish blonde hair with my original Madame Alexander barrettes. I have no issues in my body and can hold a pose and stand on my own when wearing my shoes! I have lots of color in my face–blushed cheeks, rosy lips and a peachy color to my face and flesh. My wig is nicely set but could use a gentle brushing and some loving care to be as gorgeous as it could be! I’m worth it. I actually acquired her from the famous baseball player, Phil Rizzuto’s wifes collection many years back. This is Elise Brunette Ballerina with original pink slippers, no outfit unfortunately. She is 15.5 inches tall with original upswept brunette hairdo and flowered garland still in tact. She has a stunning face, great coloring, beautiful, clear greenish sleep eyes, full lashes, ruby red lips. Her body is hard plastic and is marked Mme Alexander on her back See picture. Her arms, and face are a softer plastic. Her arms are articulated and bend at the elbow. Her legs bend at the knee and ankles. She has the Madame Alexander circle on her neck with numbers that look like 1938 but I do not think that is the date I tried to research that but really was not able to find out what I needed. If you have any information, I appreciate it. This is a stunning doll and one I hate to part with Nicer in person.
