This is a wonderful Pamela play doll by Madame Alexander using the Lissy face from 1968. She comes with 3 dresses, 2 of the three wigs (the brunette one is missing), tagged ballet outfit with floral head piece and ballet slippers and 1 floral night gown. After research I came to the conclusion that these are pieces of different trunk sets from 1968 and 1970. I did take photos from the books Madame Alexander Collector’s dolls by Patricia Smith on page 153 and Madame Alexander Dolls on Review by Marjorie Sturges Uhl on page 214 (Doll in photo is in the same dress only in yellow). All dresses including the night gown have Madame Alexander square snaps and are lined with organdy fabric as Madame Alexander is known for along with them being identified in the books but are not tagged. The pale pink dress does have a few brown stains as does the trunk. This is not a Pamela trunk as it is to big. I don’t know if it is even a Madame Alexander trunk. There is a name on the trunk in black, please see photo. As for the lovely doll she is in great condition. Her bald head does have the original Velcro strip as do both wigs. Her stringing is good and tight. Slight staining to her right arm. Face coloring is excellent. No international orders and Thank you so much for looking. Doll is in excellent condition for her age! She is a Margaret-face hard plastic walker doll, circa 1953. When you move her legs, her head moves from side-to-side, but beware – this ones head makes an entire 360! She has red hair in its original set – just perfect! She has grey-blue eyes with full lashes. Her ecru satin and tulle gown has no holes or stains, except along the bottom of the under-netting. However, it barely shows beneath the vast amount of gathered tulle material of the outer gown. Her veil has no holes or tears, but the darling cap does show a little wear, as shown in close-up photograph. She has center-snap wedding shoes, perfect stockings, and garter. Such gorgeous blue eyes on a beautiful Margaret face. One spoke of her tiara has broken off, but DOES NOT effect it standing upright. The fabric is gorgeous silk satin and is exactly as the pictures. Gorgeous Margaret Face Bride Doll, great color, perfect hair still in netting, clear eyes. Original aged box with tissue paper. Veil, bouquet, shoes, garter and nylons. Her beautiful clear eyes. Don’t open full if she has been laying down for a while. Simply how her upright against yourself with one hand and tap upwards at bottom of feet. I learned that from my doll club. They tell me that’s common. With these order dolls. There are brownish spots I see on front of gown and one on back. Might be able to remove, I didn’t try. Veil has little random holes, I tried to show in photo. Box of course is just old but it has bottom and top. Veil has not flowers, I see others that do and some that don’t. I asked the original (and only owner) states that the she never had flowers for the veil. Please ask for more specific photos if you like.
