Beautiful vintage 1952 “Madame Alexander” “Walt Disney” “Snow White” “Margaret” faced doll. She is 18 inches high and hard plastic. She has a shiny black, glued-on wig in its original factory style. Sleep eyes with full lashes, and beautiful face paint. Movable head, arms and legs. She is wearing her complete original outfit consisting of her gown, metallic gold bodice, panties, socks and shoes. The gown is ivory background, with gold print, with full puffed sleeves, elastic at bottoms, fitted waist and very full skirt. It has an attached cotton petticoat, that is trimmed with lace. It snaps in the back. It is tagged Madame Alexander, Walt Disney, Snow White. The metallic gold bodice (vest) has attached collar that matches the gown, laces up the front with metallic gold cord. Cotton panties, trimmed with lace, that snap in the back. Knitted socks and metallic gold, front snap shoes. I have done my best to recreate her rhinestone tiara, rhinestone necklace with center teardrop pendant, glued-on rhinestone earrings and rhinestone bracelet, made from antique and vintage rhinestone pieces. I have added the ribbon to her hair and made her a nylon net petticoat, to make her skirt stand out nicely. She is in very good condition, her issues are: her eyes are shiny, but not the blue that they once were, there is light discoloration on the collar of the gold bodice and on the sleeves and bodice of dress. The print on the fabric is slightly faded in places. I have added new elastic to the bottoms of the puffed sleeves, there are a few very tiny holes in the sleeves near the elastic. The metallic gold fabric has split front and back of bodice, but it is backed with stiff cotton fabric and is stable. The cotton petticoat and panties are no longer as white as they once were, as well as the socks. The metallic gold shoes have worn to a silver look on some parts of them. Featured here is an exquisite vintage Madame Alexander Elise Bride Doll, a beautiful blonde with shining flip curls in their original set and short waved bangs. She stands just over 15 inches tall with her veil. She is dressed in her original tiered lace ruffled gown which is TAGGED at the back ; see photos. S he has a wonderful long cathedral length veil with lace trim and a lace and tiny pearl trimmed cap. There is a beaded flower in pearls at each side, at the temple. The bridal cap is edged in pleated chiffon, a lovely vintage feature on this doll’s outfit. She has her original satin high heels; her original pantyhose split so they will not be included. NOTE: The bridal veil, satin panties and slip are all edged in the same PLEATED CHIFFON and match. The cathedral length veil, panties and slip are all ORIGINAL to her 1960s bridal doll attire. This doll can be displayed with the long veil flowing back behind her, or pulled over her head to the front — to show off to advantage the beautiful fabric flowers across the back of her lovely blonde wig. I have added a necklace of vintage graduated pearls to her bridal outfit and she has pearl drop earrings. She has a large satin bow at her waist in the front of the gown. I have also added a very full, very stiff vintage double layer lace and tulle slip to her outfit; it has an elastic at the waist and makes her very long, very full skirt display beautifully. This doll has the Madame Alexander “Marybel” Elise face with rosy cheeks, peach lips and beautiful mouth that is slightly turned down at the corners. She has fingernail polish in peach that matches her lips. She has painted two-stroke light brown brows, and all her brush dark eyelashes. She has open and close radial eyes in hazel blue grey. Her eyes are very clear with no “smokiness” from age at all. This doll’s wig is amazing; it is a burnished shining blonde, with tight curls in their original set all way round her head. She has short wavy blonde bangs. Her wig is double stitched at the crown of her head. Her body is the original vintage MA Elise multi-jointed body with joints at the ankles, knees, hips, neck and shoulders. She has wonderful even body coloring, no fading or yellowing or deep pink hue that some of these vintage dolls can get. I have had this doll stored in a darkened doll room inside a closed glass case, so she is very clean. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. I add box supports, air pillows, and bubble wrap to protect them in transit. This is a wonderful Pamela play doll by Madame Alexander using the Lissy face from 1968. She comes with 3 dresses, 2 of the three wigs (the brunette one is missing), tagged ballet outfit with floral head piece and ballet slippers and 1 floral night gown. After research I came to the conclusion that these are pieces of different trunk sets from 1968 and 1970. I did take photos from the books Madame Alexander Collector’s dolls by Patricia Smith on page 153 and Madame Alexander Dolls on Review by Marjorie Sturges Uhl on page 214 (Doll in photo is in the same dress only in yellow). All dresses including the night gown have Madame Alexander square snaps and are lined with organdy fabric as Madame Alexander is known for along with them being identified in the books but are not tagged. The pale pink dress does have a few brown stains as does the trunk. This is not a Pamela trunk as it is to big. I don’t know if it is even a Madame Alexander trunk. There is a name on the trunk in black, please see photo. As for the lovely doll she is in great condition. Her bald head does have the original Velcro strip as do both wigs. Her stringing is good and tight. Slight staining to her right arm. Face coloring is excellent. No international orders and Thank you so much for looking. Doll is in excellent condition for her age! She is a Margaret-face hard plastic walker doll, circa 1953. When you move her legs, her head moves from side-to-side, but beware – this ones head makes an entire 360! She has red hair in its original set – just perfect! She has grey-blue eyes with full lashes. Her ecru satin and tulle gown has no holes or stains, except along the bottom of the under-netting. However, it barely shows beneath the vast amount of gathered tulle material of the outer gown. Her veil has no holes or tears, but the darling cap does show a little wear, as shown in close-up photograph. She has center-snap wedding shoes, perfect stockings, and garter.
