Vintage Madame Alexander Walker Margot Ballerina Margaret Face Doll 18. Margaret faced “Margot Ballerina” by Madame Alexander. #1850 of the 1954 Madame Alexander catalog. This beautiful girl is a Straight Leg Walker and her head. Turns from side to side when her legs are moved! Her gorgeous golden blonde hair is waved away from her. And secured at the back in her original hair net. Spanner bar on top of head. Her lovely hair is accented with a headpiece of pink and white flowers. Pink Satin and tulle costume is accented with sparkly prong set rhinestones on the bodice. She is missing her shoes. Eyes close when laid down. They do open and close fine. There is a small, very stable surface crack under her chin, which is smooth feeling i. There is no surface unevenness. One of her sticking has several holes. These flaws are shown in detail photographs. Her costume is in very good condition, with no holes, rips, tears or stains, other than some very light overall surface soiling. PLEASE READ ALL DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. This is darling Madame Alexander “Betty” doll 30 inches tall. She has been restored by. Us, Holland House Dolls and is in great condition. Betty has been washed and scrubbed. Has a few marks.. But no cracks and no odors. Original wig has been cut off and carefully. Shaved so there is no old debris on the head. New old stock vintage wig has been added. Wig was shampooed and conditioned and is soft and lovely. Eyes that have all lashes, great lids and they open and close. Eyes are clear and bright. Left eye shows some color loss but is mostly seen at “very close range only” as is shown in. Head moves up, down, and side to side. Arms hold a pose and she can sit or. Stand by herself but…. Belongs in a stand for safety. Legs are walker legs but do not lock. Arms have new elastic stringing. Betty is marked “Alexander 1959″. On her neck under the wig. Body, head and limbs have all over same and even color… She is a very pretty dolly. More photos available if needed. She also comes with the original Caroline Kennedy doll. Jacquelines face is a little dark but looks lovely. Her hair is in the original set. Her outfit has a few rubs and a couple of pin dot holes. She is about 60 years old, but in mostly great condition. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. Wicked Witch of the West. The 2000 Wizard of Oz Collection. Limited Edition of 500. A stunning 21 inches tall with curly black hair and green eyes. And, of course, green skin! Very Unique Face — not the standard Madame Alexander mold. This is a beautiful witch, all green, dressed from head to toe in black, in a very fine damask-like corset dress. Wrapped in a velvet cape with a matching velvet witch’s hat and a velvet over-the-shoulder purse. She wears black and green striped stockings and high-heeled black boots. The doll has movable waist and hip joints (they feel a little loose). The doll is in very good displayed condition. There are no rips, tears or stains, but the elastic in the clothing is loose. The doll comes from a smoke free house and has been displayed in a temperature controlled doll-room. I have been her only owner. No box or papers, but I will pack her carefully.
