MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS 8 DOLL Bend Knee Walker WENDY & Trunk VINTAGE 1957. This Brunette Wendy is simply adorable and has those rare dark eyes and hair. There are no splits on this doll and her walker still works. Her clothing is in good shape but could use a little clean up as well as the doll. Her wig has a little spot on the back where it shows through, just due to how it was originally glued. Her outfit is original as shown in a photo of a reference book I own by Patricia Smith called, Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls. She’s in pretty nice shape but could use a few touch ups. Very bright and unfaded color. Doll in overall very good condition. Walking mechanism sometimes work sometimes doesn’t. The panties have normal age discoloration, but overall are good. All original in excellent condition. 1950′s Hard Plastic bent-knee. Marked ALEX on back. Darling TAGGED turquoise polka dot wrap-around. Playsuit that ties around waist. Trimmed in white eyelet lace & ric-rac. White sunbonnet tied with blue ribbon. Doll and clothes are in all original excellent condition. Vintage Madame Alexander Kins Bent Knee Bolivia Doll #386 Stand A Box. For this doll she is in great condition. Her top is lightly yellowed. We tested her mechanism once and it worked. Her eyes open and close. She has both earrings. Her skirt and petticoat are really not faded. She does not have a necklace not sure if original did. She is not in the original box. She is in A Nadane Alexander box. The top cover is the same type as her original. The box has an insert to keep her safe.
