Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a wonderful Pamela play doll by Madame Alexander using the Lissy face from 1968. She comes with 3 dresses, 2 of the three wigs (the brunette one is missing), tagged ballet outfit with floral head piece and ballet slippers and 1 floral night gown. After research I came to the conclusion that these are pieces of different trunk sets from 1968 and 1970. I did take photos from the books Madame Alexander Collector’s dolls by Patricia Smith on page 153 and Madame Alexander Dolls on Review by Marjorie Sturges Uhl on page 214 (Doll in photo is in the same dress only in yellow). All dresses including the night gown have Madame Alexander square snaps and are lined with organdy fabric as Madame Alexander is known for along with them being identified in the books but are not tagged. The pale pink dress does have a few brown stains as does the trunk. This is not a Pamela trunk as it is to big. I don’t know if it is even a Madame Alexander trunk. There is a name on the trunk in black, please see photo. As for the lovely doll she is in great condition. Her bald head does have the original Velcro strip as do both wigs. Her stringing is good and tight. Slight staining to her right arm. Face coloring is excellent. No international orders and Thank you so much for looking. I’m the original owner and was allowed only to take her out from time to time and look at her. She has all of her original clothes down to her ruffled panties which I didn’t photo to protect her modesty… Her seamed stockings are perfect with no snags or runs. She is wearing said panties, stockings, slip, blouse, coat, hat and red wedge sandals. As you would expect at the age of 60+ her elastic isn’t so elastic anymore mine either! I had her joints repaired some years back so she is currently intact. Not sure if she is Lissy or Cissy. This is an all original old 1950s doll called LISSY from Madame Alexander. Her dress has the Lissy Alexander clothing TAG ATTACHED. Dress is a cream color taffeta. Material with red zig zag stitching. Comes with matching taetta under slip & panties. Comes with high back seamed stocking & original red shoes. The checked coat is perfect with still crisp material. The coat is not tagged. She has original hairdo with red bows on braids. Her Stringing is nice & tight, but her head sometimes flops forward. It was made that way. This is a 1963 Lissy as McGuffy Ana by Madame Alexander. Included are the original red velvet two piece outfit, with white faux fur hat and mitts. VINTAGE & RARE MADAME ALEXANDER COCO DOLL – LISSY – MADE IN 1966 ONLY. This is a very hard to find doll. Shes in nice condition but the prior owner smoked so there is a odor when you put your nose up to her. This will air out over time if you are a smoke free home. She could use a little cleaning. Her face still has nice blush. There a few spots here and there. The dress does show yellowing to the bodice. It does have the tag. There is some soiling to underside of bodice (as seen in last two photos). The attached slip is yellowed from age and has a few stains. The pink crinoline is still stiff and really fills out the pleated tulle skirt. The elastic waistband was stretched and the crinoline kept falling down so I added some elastic thread to tighten it. It now stays up. I did not notice any damage to pleated tulle skirt. She has her original undies which have some brown spots, stockings and very hard to find shoes. One bow fell off one shoe and I glued it back in place. Shoes show yellowing and wear from age. Her jewelry consists of rhinestone earrings and a bracelet. Her hair is still in the original set and in very nice condition. Comes from pet free home. For your consideration I present to you. 12 Lissy Southern Belle, made in 1963 #1255. It is a very beautiful hard plastic Straight Leg doll. She wears a blue taffeta dress, with three rows of lace from the hemline up. Her dress has a white ribbon sash that ties in the back to form a bow. She wears crinoline and pantaloons with matching lace. Her dress is tagged Madame Alexander as can be seen in one of the pictures. She wears shoes with a snap on the side and socks. Beautiful rare Lissy McGuffey in her box. Doll is mint and has her wrist tag, original liner and 1241 marked box. She even has original tissue. The outfit is minth with exception of the underslip at waist and someone or a store must have had a stand on her at one point as there are 2 tiny holes as shown in photo, however, jacket covers.
