VINTAGE & RARE MADAME ALEXANDER COCO DOLL – LISSY – MADE IN 1966 ONLY. This is a very hard to find doll. Shes in nice condition but the prior owner smoked so there is a odor when you put your nose up to her. This will air out over time if you are a smoke free home. She could use a little cleaning. Her face still has nice blush. There a few spots here and there. The dress does show yellowing to the bodice. It does have the tag. There is some soiling to underside of bodice (as seen in last two photos). The attached slip is yellowed from age and has a few stains. The pink crinoline is still stiff and really fills out the pleated tulle skirt. The elastic waistband was stretched and the crinoline kept falling down so I added some elastic thread to tighten it. It now stays up. I did not notice any damage to pleated tulle skirt. She has her original undies which have some brown spots, stockings and very hard to find shoes. One bow fell off one shoe and I glued it back in place. Shoes show yellowing and wear from age. Her jewelry consists of rhinestone earrings and a bracelet. Her hair is still in the original set and in very nice condition. Comes from pet free home. For your consideration I present to you. 12 Lissy Southern Belle, made in 1963 #1255. It is a very beautiful hard plastic Straight Leg doll. She wears a blue taffeta dress, with three rows of lace from the hemline up. Her dress has a white ribbon sash that ties in the back to form a bow. She wears crinoline and pantaloons with matching lace. Her dress is tagged Madame Alexander as can be seen in one of the pictures. She wears shoes with a snap on the side and socks. Her hand tag read Southern Belle. The value price as listed in the catalogue (last picture) is listed at 1,200.00. Beautiful rare Lissy McGuffey in her box. Doll is mint and has her wrist tag, original liner and 1241 marked box. She even has original tissue. The outfit is minth with exception of the underslip at waist and someone or a store must have had a stand on her at one point as there are 2 tiny holes as shown in photo, however, jacket covers. This pretty Madame Alexander LISSY is from 1957. She is wearing the outfit #1161 It includes the beautiful full pink dress, slip, bloomers, an incredible hat and beautiful pink shoes. It is all in very good condition with no stains, holes, or other damage. The dress is a beautiful pink color without any fade or darkening to the fabric. The arms are nice and tight and the pink ribbon tie is beautiful. Her slip and bloomers have great stretch with no issues to report. Her stockings look to be free of holes or runs and her pink shoes are nice and tight. The beautiful hat is just perfect with nice full tulle with no holes and beautiful crisp flowers on top. She comes wearing the correct jewelry of pearl earrings and a diamond bracelet. Is just stunning and completes this outfit perfectly. The Lissy doll is in very good condition with a beautiful brunette wig in original set tied in the back with a gold cord. She has beautiful pupiless eyes and original blush on the cheeks. There are no cracks or stains on the doll body. All together this is a lovely version of this dress that will not dissappoint! A very pretty Lissy! There were a total of 6 Portrait dolls that were made in 1966 only and this one is Lissy. She is in excellent condition and all original from head to toe. She still has her original crown which is often missing. Her hair is in its original set. Her gown is tagged and crisp. She has beautiful facial coloring.
