This 15 Maggie face hard plastic doll was made by Alexander in the 1950′s. She had longer hair and was often called the Teenage Maggie. Maggie is wearing a navy circle skirt that has the Alexander characteristic basket chain attached. The striped blouse is attached to the slip and has the Alexander tag in the back. The underwear is the same material as the slip. I added the saddle shoes as her shoes were missing, but the socks are hers. Maggie’s eyes work smoothly, and her saran brown hair seems too big for her face, characteristic of these teenage dolls. Maggie’s face has wonderful coloring. What a fun doll!

She is vintage good condition and rare. She is a walker. Her head will turn when her legs move. However, her legs joints are loose and not very tight. She is missing her floral headpiece. The hat is replacement. Her dress is original and tagged. I’m not sure about her panty and stockings are original or not. Her shoes look like replacement too. Her cheeks blushing have been lightly refreshed. Overall still a beautiful doll for your consideration. I’m not a vintage doll expert but just a new casual collector. A wonderful vintage Madame Alexander doll, as pictured. Pre-owned and in good condition. Some gentle wear throughout from age, but no egregious flaws. Her’sleepy eyes’ seem to stick sometimes and need to be opened manually. The clothing is a bit wrinkled from storage, but I don’t notice any other issues. Adjustable at the hips, shoulders, and head/neck. Her pink dress has a “Madame Alexander” tag. The doll’s body does not have any markings. Comes with the “comb & curlers” box (with contents), and the other pictured accessories. Includes original box, which shows wear, rips/tears, etc. She stands 17-inches tall. STUNNING – MADAME ALEXANDER – HARD PLASTIC. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. A stunning example of’Annabelle’. This Annabelle is 20 inches tall. She is all original except she is missing her sweater. For reference see page #26 in’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. She is in mint condition.
