Welcome to my auctions! Cissy is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl arms with jointed elbows. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is lovely in her white nylon organdy dress with felt red polka dots. It has puffed sleeves and a red grosgrain sash tied into a bow in back. Under the skirt is a white nylon taffeta half slip with tiny red bow and matching undies with red bow trim. Also tight new nylons and red Cissy high heels. She is carrying a red purse with white nylon Cissy gloves and her only jewelry is her rhinestone bracelet. She wears a red facinator hat of netting, velvet bow, and feathers fashioned by Richards Originals. Her hair is a deep auburn color and is pulled back on each side with cluster of curls on top of her head, The rest of her hair is pulled back to her neck into curls and is tied with a red ribbon. Her face is lovely with nice cheek blush, brows, full lashes, and red mouth. Her eyes are clear and a greenish blue color. Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Golden blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged red and white polka dot dress. Matching panties, red molded plastic. Red straw cloche hat with veil and red velvet flowers. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has golden blonde hair with a stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is longer length in back, she has bangs and there is stitching at the bangs. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with double pearl drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged white dress with red polka dots, red rick rack trim on the bodice. She has matching panties and red molded plastic high heels with bows on the toes. Her hat is adorable, red straw, cloche style with white veil draped to the back and red velvet flowers. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. This is an original tagged vintage Madame Alexander Cissy dress from 1957. The dress is green taffeta with cotton polka dot sleeves, collar, and bow accent. Tagged Cissy inside the center back seam. All snaps are present and secure. No stains in taffeta, holes, or tears. The cotton sleeve and bow fabric does show spotted aging as is common on these dresses. Taffeta is nice and crisp. There is some crinkling to the taffeta fabric finish. The photos pick this up. Overall a very fresh looking lovely nice dress for your Cissy doll. Recently, I acquired a Cissy trunk set that contained numerous Cissy outfits, including this hard to find 2pc outfit from 1957. The outfit was a boxed extra and includes a navy, polka dotted, pleated skirt made of polished cotton and accented with flowers at the waist and a sheer nylon blouse accented with lace. Both pieces are tagged. NOTE: I had a really hard time deciding whether or not to sell these 2 pieces together as the condition of each is different. I finally made the decision to sell them together but it’s very important that it be understood that the blouse is NOT in as nice of condition as the skirt. SKIRT CONDITION: the skirt looks wonderful, even after all these decades! Flowers at waist do have a bit of wear from storage. BLOUSE CONDITION: I consider the blouse to be TLC, at least to some degree. Both cuffs need to be mended where the lace meets the nylon material with the right cuff having more areas in need of mending than the left (an example of the issue can be seen in the last pic); there are a few dropped or loose stitches along one of the shoulder seams (see 8th pic); buttons have some wear to the finish; the blouse has just a bit of general soil and the edging that finishes the bottom of the blouse has unraveled a bit on the front edges. MADAME ALEXANDER BEAUTIFUL CISSY 20 TALL DOLL – 1958 NAVY POLKA DOTS. Take a good look at the pictures and my written info. This is a Beautiful Cissy doll and outfit is tagged…. I added some jewlery to her hands… No cracks in legs or arms… Don’t see the cracks in hip areas where legs go inside, but I think way up very very high there is somewhat a tiny crack, very hard to see…. But this has been on the leg like that since I first bought her so many years ago…. Since I have had her for a very long time, I finally took her out from a truck, and noticed her slip has some threads in the elastic… Lower price to help it sell… Still a WONDERFUL DOLL.. He eyes are cloudy. She has a hip and crotch split. Her dress is tagged. There are no tears in the skirt but I do see one at her right shoulder. No stockings or shoes. Her wgg is original but has fly aways and could be restyled.

Beautiful doll with uncut hair that needs to be restyled. Her eyes are greenish blue. She is a little pale in the face, bdy has nice color. No Knee or thigh splits. Cissy Doll Dress 1958 Madame Alexander. Polished Cotton Navy Polka Dot. Pretty original dress for Cissy doll. Collar and cuffs have yellowed/dingy. Polished cotton is lovely and crisp. Doesn’t appear to have ever been laundered. No odors, rips, tears, fading, all snaps present and pretty tag. This stunning vintage tagged Alexander Cissy dress is the very rare lavender model of the dress pictured in Kiley Shaws wonderful Cissy book, on page 60. This dress has very pale polka dots which do show up more pronounced in my picture than they do on the actual dress. The lavender is very soft, when I put it next to a pink dress you can see its evenly pale lavender all over. When I put it next to Elise little purple hat, you can still see its pale lavender. You can see in my picture of the slip that the dress is a lavender next to the quite pink slip, so I do not believe this dress to be a pink faded, I believe this dress to be what I have presented it as. You will need to make up your own mind on that of course. It ties in back with a wide soft bow of the same material, and does up in back with 4 square snaps. No rips, holes or tears in this dress, and I have not washed it. Im fairly certain it would have been gently laundered at some stage in. Its 65 year life, its hard to tell because the tag colour still looks clean and clearly read. Sleeve elastic still holds firm, Im not sure if this has been replaced at some stage, if so its been very well done. At some stage, the petticoat has had extra elastic cord added to tighten a loose waist line. And ask questions if I have left out something important to you.
