INCREDIBLY RARE – Madame Alexander Dolls – Princess Elizabeth & Prince Philip.

I did not list much for quite awhile, as I was his caretaker. He and I were great collectors of many things. THIS BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF DOLLS ARE AT LEAST 70 YRS OLD. THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYED WITH, BUT STILL MOSTLY ORIGINAL AND SO PRETTY. CINDERELLA IS AS SWEET AS SHE CAN BE. PLEASE ENLAGE ALL PICS, AS THEY ARE HER BEST DISCRIPTION. HER EYES WORK PERFECTLY, AND HER HAIR LOOKS GREAT. HOWEVER, AS YOU CAN SEE, THE LINING OF HER GOWN HAS HOLES, HER SLIP NEEDS ELASTIC AND SHE IS MISSING HER HOSE AND SHOES HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH DELICATE LITTLE THREAD CROCHETED SHOES, SOMEONE LOVINGLY MADE FOR HER AT SOME POINT. SHE HAS SOME MARKS ON HER LEGS AND MAYBE SOME SCUFFS OR RUBS HERE AND THERE. PRINCE CHARMING IS HER PERFECT MATCH AND SO HANDSOME WITH HIS BROCADE OUTFIT, INCLUDING HAT. HE HAS FABULOUS SOFT HAIR, ORIGINAL AND IN GREAT SHAPE. THE ONLY THING I FIND WRONG IS HIS TIGHTS ARE SOILED, AS YOU CAN SEE IN PICTURE. THEY ALSO NEED NEW ELASTIC. IF YOU WANT ADDITIONAL PICTURES, JUST ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT. Please give them a good home. Please remember just how old these dolls are and played with. They may come with little marks, shiny patch or something minor. If I see anything obvious I will say so. Otherwise, please study pictures, they are the best description. This is a very hard to find early. Large Prince Charming, 18, signed in raised letters across his neck: Alexander and tagged. Hard plastic doll with excellent color, beautiful blue sleep eyes with perfect brush eyelashes as well as lower painted lashes, brows, cheek blush and fabulous original, thick blonde caracul hair. He wears his beautiful, pastel yellow brocade tunic, Juliet sleeves with gold braid, stand-up collar with gold braid, decorated tights also decorated with gold garter, cap and cape to match his tunic, original satin shoes with center-snaps and original double-sided, Alexander clover leaf, wrist tag and clothing tag. He is in very good condition with no damages or repairs, no fading, no holes and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. E will make a wonderful addition to any storybook or doll collection. We are pleased to present… “Prince Philip”, British Consort doll. And made for only one year. Is this, 18 tall, all hard plastic, signed. Consort to “Queen Elizabeth II”, doll with the. He is all original in his. He has a short brown. Perfect inset eyelashes as well as painted lower lashes, molded and painted eyebrows and a closed mouth, spread fingers. He wears a two-piece black morning tuxedo with taffeta lining and long lapels, long tails, strip on outside of each pant leg and flower boutonniere over stiff white shirt with collar and white tie, wide white cumberbund, “diamond” stud pin, original black socks and black leatherette shoes with flat heels and side snaps and fantastic, rare black satin top hat. He also has the attached pocket watch chains. See him on page 58. He is in excellent, unplayed with condition and has no cracks, splits or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no marks and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. His suit shows a bit of age which can be dry cleaned as it’s been in storage. No other dolls shown are included and will each be listed separately. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Prince Charming and Cinderella Dolls. These dolls are in good condition. The dolls’ clothing is somewhat discolored from age and needs to be cleaned to remove dirt. This set contains a Cinderella and Prince Charming doll in fine clothing. Both dolls have sleep eyes which close when laid down. THANK YOU FOR VISITING US. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander 14 CINDERELLA & PRINCE CHARMING Dolls.. This beautiful pair was recently acquired from the original owner who received the dolls as a gift in the early 1950′s. A rare set of 14 Cinderella and Prince Charming dolls from the early 1950′s. She is dressed in her pale blue satin ball gown with puff sleeves and decorated with silver metallic trim and tiny silver stars. Her dress is lined in white satin and she also has a net trimmed petticoat and lace trimmed panties. She has a gold metallic coronet on her lovely platinum blond hair which is held in place with the original hairnet. She is wearing her original plastic “glass” slippers which fit her perfectly, of course! The handsome Prince is wearing an ivory brocade satin tunic top, ivory bloomers and matching cape with gold metallic trim and satin lining. He has an ivory cap which matches the outfit and is accented with original white feather, white tights and original gold satin snap-on shoes. He has reddish brown curly hair and rosy cheeks. Both dolls are all original with no markings visible and no hangtags. Both their outfits are tagged with labels. There are no cracks on either doll and no odors. They are well strung and heads, arms and legs work and pose well. They have sleep eyes (hers are green, his are blue) with thick brush lashes. The only issues noted on either doll are with her petticoat. The snap at the top is missing and there is slight age discoloration at the hem where the net trim is attached (see photos).
