Madame Alexander’s Cissette. One of the most beautiful Cissette’s I have ever seen! This rare Cissette and her outfit are both in pristine condition in the original box. Outfit #731 is tagged and complete. Her stringing is tight and she poses beautifully. Her blond hair is in its original style which is a flip hair-do. She has beautiful facial coloring. She wears her gorgeous blue lace dress which is crisp and unplayed with. The blue color looks new and has not faded to purple as is the case with most of these dresses. There are no marks, holes, tears, stains, fading or odors of any kind. Her blue hat is adorned with full, uncrushed flowers in original colors surrounded with blue tulle netting. The elastic on her gold shoes has not relaxed. Cissette’s crinoline and underwear are also mint with elastic that has not relaxed. She wears her original pearl drop earrings. This rare doll comes in her original box. Cissette comes from a clean, non-smoking and odor-free home. This is THE DOLL for serious collectors. She is from 1950, and she has the Margaret face mold. Original foil wrist tag, and store receipt. This doll is the best example of a Peggy Bride I have seen. She is 14 tall. Her silk gown has no flaws. It’s a bit wrinkled in the back from laying in her box for so many years. No holes- no actual flaws. She smells like a wonderful, clean, and perfect vintage doll. She is simply stunning. Everything is in working order. Her sleep eyes are clear, blue and perfect. I have examined the doll completely, and the only things I saw were a tiny pin size light brown spot on the silk overlay of the gown. The veil has 3 tiny light brown spots. This is her original box, however the color of the gown is checked pink. The gown is of course white. Over the years, has become more of a creamy white. The box is missing a bit of one side of the upper flap. However, for it’s age, I have seen much worse. An example of one of the finest dolls ever made. She will not disappoint. She is 8, made of hard plastic and is fully strung from 1953. She has a triple stitch blonde wig, blue eyes, rosy cheeks and red lips. She is wearing a lace and satin ribbon bonnet, organdy pinafore, organdy dress, organdy 1/2 slip, organdy panties, rayon socks and top stitch side snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. The only issue I see, is the left side of the ribbon tie on the back of the pinafore looks replaced. The outfit is not tagged, however it looks like a variation of ” Maypole Dance” from 1954. She has Vivid facial coloring and gorgeous blonde hair, and is All Original and Rare. She comes from a private collection, never played with and in Near Mint Condition.
