This is a fabulous strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is in beautiful minty condition with original blonde wig in original set, excellent high face coloring with brown brows, medium blue green eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, bright pink cheeks with no scuffs or touch-ups and bright red lips. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged Alice dress, organdy pinafore, Alex undies, excellent fuzzy bottom shoes with rayon socks. Dress is in excellent clean condition. Great 1953 Alex-kins which dont come around often with this wonderful coloring. Hair bow has been replaced. Comes from a smoke free home. She was made in 1953 with strung legs. She is in mint condition and all original from head to toe. Her tagged outfit is mint and crisp. She has sleep eyes and rosy cheeks. She came in a box marked 564 Auburn. The box has shelf wear and is discolored. I also accept other forms of payments. In person she’s breath taking… !!! My photos don’t do her justice. She has the face of an angel…… Early strung Kins in this condition are IMPOSSIBLE to find! Excellent face coloring with nice rosy cheeks with no rubs. Desirable matte finish complexion. Lovely blue grey eyes and lots of finely feathered painted lashes. Please excuse any camera “reflection” showing in photos. Gorgeous triple stitched wig in original set. She comes wearing an ADORABLE pastel pink taffeta dress and panties. Vintage slip has slight loosening of waist elastic but slip stays up. Gorgeous crochet Alexander-kins bonnet with multi-ruffle edging. I do see one tiny hole on one side of the bonnet which in no way detracts from her displayability or appeal! Her box is in EXCELLENT clean condition for it’s age and is marked #300 BLONDE. She comes wearing vintage ivory side snap velvety shoes in very good condition, with snaps and straps firmly in tact. A BEAUTIFUL early strung Alexander-kins ready for display. Pretty 1953 “Wendy” 7 1/2 SLNW Heavy hard plastic. Green Eyes open and shut freely, and she is marked:Alex on her back. Her dark brunette wig is triple stitched with nice original curl. Skin tones slightly tan color, light pink on cheeks and red rosebud mouth. Wendy is wearing a pretty checked (white & blue) tagged dress, crochet lace around the neck and arms, pink appliques flowers on front. Buttons down the back with a belt that ties. Wendy has a few problems as I discovered after I got her home and started looking at her. Her left leg has the plastic hook replaced with a metal hook, she is still tightly strung, and you don’t see on less you pull her leg out. She has a spot of glue in the back, I didn’t see it till the camera light pointed it out, a small dent on the inside of left arm. Some of the pictures were taken outside trying to give true color. This listing is for a BEAUTIFUL STRUNG Alexander-kins from the first year Madame Alexander produced her 8 dolls. She is a STRAIGT LEG NON-WALKER and is unique in that, only in 1953, did Madame Alexander make these dolls with solid legs. She is significantly heavier than later kins. Also, since she is strung, she can be posed in a great variety of poses, including tilting her head which the later walkers are unable to do. This sweet doll is blessed with a honey blond triple-stitched wig in it original set. Her clear blue eyes open and close nicely. She has flawless red lips and lightly blushed cheeks. Her painted bottom lashes are perfect. She is tightly strung, stands on her own and holds a pose nicely. If she was played with at all, it was very lightly. She wears t agged, pink panties and perfect black suede shoes with fuzzy bottoms accompanied by pink rayon socks. I found a slight indentation at the inside of her right eyebrow which I believe was made during her manufacture. Until September 8 before returning to my home in Panama. Please study the photos. This week and next we’re presenting several Alexander-kins dolls and clothing from an estate collection. This gorgeous early strung ballerina is all original and just stunning. She is wearing an excellent condition pink tutu and matching panties that have great color and shine with no stains or tears. I have found no holes in the double layer of netting and it sits out so beautifully. Her shoes are fuzzy bottom ballet shoes also in great condition. Her flowers are factory sewn in to her hair at the sides. The doll herself has all original coloring which is beautiful, and no stains or cracks to her body. She’s one beautiful ballerina! This is one beautiful strung Alexander kins doll. This doll has the most beautiful hair and skin tone. Her hair is bright. Fiery red, with lots of shine and it is nice and tight to her head. Her overall skin tone is a beautiful and has a nice peachy undertone that you usually do not see. Her facial coloring is bright and beautiful. The only tiny flaw is one pin dot of color loss on her right cheek which is so hard to see but I did want to mention it.
