This is a darling Madame Alexander 8 doll. She is Wendy Dressed for Spectator Sports #578. She is a hard-plastic bend knee walker doll from 1956. The outfit is clean and there are is no damage to the felt of the coat or the beanie. The tag from the outfit was cut off at some point. You can see the remnants of what would have said Alexander-kins at the top back of the coat. Her walker works well. She dons black fuzzy-bottomed shoes in fantastic condition. Up for your consideration is this extraordinary Cissy doll from 1958. She is affectionately called The Lady in Red She is absolutely stunning and has a bright beautiful color to her face however, she is not for the mint collector. She has gorgeous blue green eyes with all of her lashes. No cracks of any kind! I love her anyway as she just melted my heart. These dolls are so hard to come by and I hate to part with her but I have to downsize my collection! Her hair was also a mess and I believe that it has been restored beautifully! Her curls are held in place with Bobby pins as her wig was in fragile condition before her restoration. The red velvet bow had just disintegrated into her hair so she has a simple red bow in her hair now. She comes with replaced Swarovski pearl earrings and necklace. She Has a huge white slip under her gown which is had some red from her dress fade onto it making it look pink. The slip has stretched elastic as do her panties. Her nylons have A couple small blemishes on them and shes wearing replaced vintage silver shoes. I have never tried to do anything with the dress I believe it will clean up beautifully however, I will leave that up to the new owner. There are also a couple of other spots on the ballgown. She is so very gorgeous and is always the centerpiece of any collection! She will always put a smile on your face! She is extremely well adjusted and a very uplifting doll. She displays amazingly during the holidays and Valentines Day its almost like she glows! Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. This is Madame Alexander 34 inch vinyl collectible Nurse-Aid “Playpal” type doll. Here in “mint” condition. There are no marks, cracks or odors. She has beautiful coloring and is. The “removable” white pinafore, candy stripe dress, cap, undies and socks are crisp and in. The wig is original and also like new. Beautiful blush shows on her cheeks. Elbows, hands and knees. The neck is marked 2006 Alexander doll company, Inc ADG 06. Will sit, or stand alone but belongs in a stand for safety. The “stand” is included. This beautiful Madame Alexander vintage playpal doll is “extra nice”, clean and in well cared for. Shape and is probably ready to last another lifetime. Super nice 13″ MADAME ALEXANDER “JANE WITHERS closed mouth composition doll. This little gem is in exceptional condition for a composition doll. Under magnification she has some minor crazing on her right arm inside elbow and some slight craze on her left lower leg. Looks like she bonked her nose tiny nick under magnifier and her upper lip has a teeny tiny nick and craze line. Black line on side of nose is a mark not a craze. Her face is beautiful. Small nick on one finger and one toe. Her little hands show flesh color wear on fingertips. Her eyes are brown. They open and close well. Her hair is a wine color and is a bit wild. I believe her clothes and shoes are original. Dress on the top has a few pulls in the gauze and shows yellowing. Socks inside the shoes has staining. The elastic on on her undies has lost its stretch. Slip is attached to dress and is good. Her painted eyebrows and lower painted lashes show wear. One eyebrow is almost gone. If you are looking at this listing you know MUCH MUCH more about this doll than I do. Researching I found that she is SUPER RARE and that she is CIssy 1955 #2098 With a Gold (yellow) Tafeta dress with Cape. She DOES NOT have her original box. Overall for her age, I think she’s in pretty good condition. Looks like she may have been a childs toy? She is missing the hoop on her right earring. The elastic in most places like on the waist of the slip is worn out. Her shoes are having issues with the straps…. I don’t even want to try to put them on her. Her clothes are mussed and have a few spots on them here or there, that in my personal opinion would be easy to clean. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
