This beauty is in excellent condition and stands 11 tall. Made in 1939, her composition is in excellent condition. Her black mohair wig is in its original set. She is original from her wonderful bonnet to her shoes and socks, however her velvet bodice and bonnet have been carefully re-dyed to achieve their original green and I have added a new green feather to the bonnet. Her dress has retained vibrant color and has no areas that have faded. Shoes are in excellent condition except for a few scuffs on the soles. A darling to add to your MA Or Scarlett collection! Wendy is dressed in the cutest outfit and I believe it is named Wendy Looks as Sweet As A Lollipop (#326). She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1957. This Alexander-kins is as cute as can be in her tagged dress and matching panty. The outfit itself is stiff polished cotton and like new except for a very tiny dot on the back of her skirt. She is darling with her original barrette and tiny brunette curls that are hard to see in the photos. Her facial coloring is beautiful, her eyes are clear and her eye lashes are full. Her eyes do not open and shut easily. Probably from having her stored safely away. She holds poses easily. Her taffeta dress is clean and spring-like fresh. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes and socks. She does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape has some light age stains at the top of the dress which I think will clean up, but I have not tried to clean the dress in fear of damaging it. The dress is not tagged. The purple shoes have their front flowers. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. Her hair is in lightly played with condition and her eyelashes are in excellent shape. The coat and dress have their original buttons. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll itself is in played with condition with one split one the left wrist, one slit at one the right elbow and chipping on the back of the upper legs. The purple coat has a few snags to the fabric on the back left side which are visible in the picture. There is also a tiny mark on her nose. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged.
