A very pretty, white, sleeveless print blouse is attached to rich, eggplant dark purple, corduroy pants, highlighted with a gold velvet belt ribbon. A matching, long-sleeved, three-quarter jacket has a large, dark orange, Peter Pan collar. The coat is fully lined with the same print as the blouse, showing a white background with little light purple and pink and lilac flowering vines. MADAME ALEXANDER Baby McGuffey 1961 15 Vintage Antique Baby Doll – VERY NICE!

This is one of the earliest and rarest hard plastic strung toddler dolls by Madame Alexander, made in 1948. I believe the doll was not made again after 1948. Depending on the outfit it came with, it was called either “Precious” or “Lovey Dovey”. In either case, they are rarely found. The doll is about 11 tall with open and close eyes. She is in very good overall condition. All fingers and toes are intact. Eyes open and close properly. Please note the following. She can hold a pose, but is somewhat loosely strung. There are “scuff” marks to face and body, but no cracks. Slight wear to the paint on head, mouth and eyelids. Eyelashes intact with just a few lashes drooping a bit on outer right eye- see last photo. Hard to notice, but mentioned for completeness. I have included many photos and will be happy to send more. Please examine them all carefully. She doesn’t have her original outfit or box. The dress she came with has stains- see photos. No odor and coming from a smoke free environment.

Box is in good condition.

Never removed from box. Part of my own private collection. This Mexico doll is very rare and extemely stunning and colorful. Stunning in her dress which appears to be in movement as if she were dancing and twirling. Pinata never opened from original packaging.
