This is a Beautiful Madame Alexander CINDERELLA DOLL Made in the 1950s. She is a lovely 14 Hard Plastic Doll with a Margaret Face. She comes dressed in a MA Tagged Blue Gown, TWO Plastic Slippers, a Beaded Necklace, a Gold Tiara and Cream Colored Panties. The doll is in Lovely, gently used condition. Her gown is decorated with Metal Stars attached to make her Sparkle. It has a cream colored liner attached underneath. Her dress has No stains or holes. Her Hair is in the original factory set with her Original Hair Net, though her hair has worn through the bottom of it. The tag on her dress reads, “Madame Alexander New York All Right Reserved”. Her eyes are light blue and open & close well. Her string is tight and she holds a pose well. She has two “glass” slippers. One is missing a side strap. The other shoe has a stress cracks on each strap. I do not recommend putting these shoes on. It might break the fragile plastic. This is a beautiful example of a. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander “Maggie” doll. Alexander dolls from this era are highly collectible, known for their high-quality hard plastic construction, expressive faces, and elaborate clothing. Her outfit was hand-made by noted doll maker Harriet Wolford in the 1990s. The “Maggie” face, introduced in the late 1940s and popular through the 1950s. It features chubby cheeks, large blue sleeping eyes (with real upper lashes and painted lower ones), a closed mouth with rosy lips, and a sweet, wide-eyed innocent expression. Many collectors adore this mold for its charming, childlike look-distinct from the earlier “Margaret” face (which is similar but slightly different) or the more glamorous “Cissy” face. Blonde wavy mohair wig with bangs and a ribbon bow. Hard plastic, jointed (at neck, shoulders, and hips), a “walker” body that allows the head to turn side-to-side when the legs move. The pink sheer organdy dress with lace trim, ruffled layers, puffed sleeves, and dotted underskirt is a classic 1950s Madame Alexander style. Up for your consideration is this exquisite vintage 1950s Cissy doll by Madame Alexander. She is beautifully dressed in an original Madame Alexander outfit. Her blouse has a couple of very small spots but overall in very good condition with no holes or tears. Her blouse is not tagged but original to her outfit. Her tagged skirt is in excellent condition. Her slip has a couple of small holes but it’s elastic still has its stretch. She wears earrings, a bracelet and a ring. Her vintage straw hat is adorned with lovely vintage flowers and veil netting. She carries a darling handbag reminiscent of the era. Her vintage high heel shoes have accent lace and flowers. She has an infused face with great color which is highly desirable. Her eyes are clear and still a beautiful blue. Aside from a few small areas of discoloration, this doll’s face, torso and limbs are in great condition considering her age. She has no cracks or breaks. Her hair still has its original metal bar. She is even more stunning in person.
