This listing is for a 16 Alex doll. This is a 2000 Modern Romance doll created exclusively for the 2000 Modern Doll Collector’s Convention. She was a limited edition of 40 pieces and will arrive fully dressed in her original clothing and will come in her original packaging with her stand, accessories, wrist tag and all paperwork. Doll has been removed from the box for display only. Box does show some wear. Most notably, there is some fading on the side of the box. Doll in photos is the doll you will receive. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander hard plastic Margaret doll. Wearing her original tagged dress and slip (with attached undies). Shoes and socks are vintage, but not original. She measures approximately 17 inches tall. Very good, vintage condition. Dress and slip have wear, as shown. Hair bow was added. Photos are considered part of the description. From a smoke free home. Doll stand is not included.
Madame Alexander 14″ Wendy Ann face mold, “Star Angel (Nativity/Christmas series). Composition Material: The doll’s face and body show the tell-tale crazing (fine cracks in the finish), which happens with vintage composition dolls made before plastic became standard (mostly pre-1950s). Era: Likely 1940 to 1945. Outfit: Gold gown, with metallic trim and a star accessory. Condition: Crazing across the face and body (common in composition dolls). Dress shows some age wear and small tears. Hair and crown are still intact.

Rare blonde wig with curls and curled bangs. Wearing tagged wedding gown of white nylon tulle with unpressed pleated skirt over taffeta under-dress, dotted tulle bodice with pearl edging at the throat, satin sash, tulle pleated sleevelets, Medici cap of stiffened lace with attached veil and floral trimmed inside brim, taffeta petticoat and panties, garter, seamed stockings, coral satin front-snap shoes, bouquet to match flowers in cap. Stunning doll with no smells and appears to have been carefully stored. Some rust stains to dress and ribbons from pins in wig. I don’t see any tears or holes in the clothing. I see no cracks to the body. Arms might have had a replacement rubber band at some point (not done by me). Legs bend and lock and are attached inside with a long plastic piece (if this doll is a walker, the legs move but head does not turn with the legs).
