Has all the marking of an authentic Alexander doll. Her name is Elise model # 1760 out of New York. Dressed out in her white wedding gown. Made of hard plastic. Box has minor damage. VNTG 1950s Madame Alexander 16 Elise Doll Dk Blonde Flip Wig. Back marked “MME Alexander”. Very Very good to Excellent condition. Her face coloring is Gorgeous. Her hair is beautiful little pin curls all around. Her eye color is a beautiful aqua color. I would call her just excellent but she has a knee split that’s been nicely repaired and her elbows are a little “pointy” from the hardware under the skin/rubber. You can see the wig cap fabric thru her hair slightly in the back because of how the hair is scooched/lays i think, not because there’s hair missing, it’s hard to notice as it blends in really well, but I try to mention everything. Vintage Doll Madame Alexander 36 1959 Playpal Type JANIE Strawberry Blonde Hair! She is marked, “Alexander 36 1959″ on the back of her head. Looks like there is a marking on the body, but hard to read. The head has lightened in color from the body and one leg is lighter than the other. Other than that, I do not see much wrong with her. Cissy Doll, Alexander 1950s Blonde in Red Cotton Dress. Cissys blonde hair is pulled back from her face into a low, tucked-under style. Her face makeup is subtle with faint eyeshadow and in the original coloring nothing added to this lovely girl. Her eyelashes are full and look original. She wears a vibrant red dress with a full skirt and fitted bodice. Three white buttons and white trim decorate the dress, which is tagged Cissy. Her body has vinyl jointed arms, hard plastic torso with long legs, jointed above the knees with high-heeled feet. This doll is from a collection that will be liquidated bit by bit. Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Blue Dress 1950s? Some condition issues – neck, left shoulder, left leg, hair. Clothing issues as well. Hair is glued and it looks like the glue has melted into hair. Her head tilts back when you pick her up. Also dark marks on neck. Split starting on left leg. Left shoulder plastic/rubber coming away from arm. Dress has some stains, underskirt is held on with safety pin. Please review description and pictures before purchasing. MISS BINNIE HAS BEEN RESTRUNG but not too tight SO SHE HAS EXCELLENT HEAD TILT & LOVELY “LIFTING” ARMS. THIS BEAUTIFUL BLONDE CISSY BINNIE IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE LIKE HER IN MY COLLECTION. I make no claim that she is “mint”—SHE IS NOT MINT—SHE DOES HAVE SOME SIGNS OF “AGE” as mentioned earlier, repairing her by filling cracks and reinforcing the stress point at her knee and across her bottom. She also has a few small marks (like little dots) on her arms between her gloves and sweater, and minimal “rubs” at hip joints, with a few tiny “nicks” on legs—she has ORIGINAL PINK KNEES! As far as I can tell her dress has not been washed—the fabric appears to have original patina and texture and fits well but not tight—this fabric will shrink with washing as it is 100% cotton. She has been on display in my SMOKE FREE, PET FREE DOLL ROOM protected from sunlight & temperature extremes. I can send you additional photos upon request. She is listed as being 25″ tall—the doll is 24″—her original white cotton jersey stocking cap would have made her 25 tall, it is not included. She came to me without her original hat and sweater.
