We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage absolutely adorable Rare Early 1955 Madame Alexander Kins Wendy Straight Legs Walker Strung doll. Series: WENDY is a Little Genius. Dress and Bonnet style. 1955 that is the only year the doll had no lower painted eyelashes. The tagged Little genius clothes came out in 1956. She still has nice coloring with red lips, nice lashes and curved brown eyebrows, face is slightly pale. She has dark blonde hair with some slight red touch and she is jointed at the neck, arms, legs, knees, eyes works well. Her body is a loose type. Maybe it will need a re-strung later. So far it’s still okay. Her walking mechanism works not perfect but okay most of the time. Sometimes her head may get stuck. However it’s still working somehow. Her back is signed ALEX for Madame Alexander authenticity. She wears original Madame Alexander very RARE tagged Little Genius outfit from 1956 with matching bonnet. Southern Edwardian style, also she wears cute. She wears Madame Alexander beautiful velvet shoes and white socks. She looks absolutely adorable. Her outfit may have some slight aging signs, otherwise it’s fine. Nobody played with this doll, however this doll was displayed by collector. The doll has good preowned condition. Her outfit and her body is very good for this vintage age, body and outfit may have slight aging signs. Legs has slight brown aging spots behind, dress has slight yellow spots. However outfit and doll has a very. Good condition for early vintage item. Her hair still in good pristine factory condition. Doll’s face is very unusual, very rich cherry lips, pink cheeks and absolutely unique, gorgeous, very deep eyes. This doll comes from a SMOKE FREE home. 1 owner, adult collector. This doll is in good vintage condition with minor wear. It is fully intact with composition head, hands, legs and a cloth body. She comes in her original clothing (clothing shows a few minor stains), shoes (show considerable wear) and sock (one sock is missing). Face shows light crazing as well as crazing/cracking behind her knees. Flirty, sleepy eyes open and close nicely. Mohair wig is intact and in good shape. Marked Alexander across the back of her head. This is a Madame Alexander Little Genius from 1950′s with her original outfit, super cute and, overall, in wonderful condition. Her eyes open and close beautifully, she has an open mouth, her coloring is good and she is blond, with short hair. Her head is hard plastic (and she has a “scar” over her right eyebrow that goes down almost to her eye). The rest of her is all vinyl, and she has no markings that I could find. Super clean, with no stains, vinyl darkening, marks, etc. She is dressed in a very thin delicate linen underdress, cotton (cloth diaper style) panties and over that a beautiful cotton white dress with tiny blue with green flowers and lace ruffles finishing the short sleeves, bottom edge and collar. She has a bonnet in the same fabric as her dress, it ties under her neck and also with lace ruffle. On top of all that, she brings her pink silk/satin overcoat, which is tagged.
