Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a Gorgeous red 3/4 length gown of pleated brocade with matching wrap and flower at the waist. The wrap is sewn on at waist with a visible square snap. It comes with the original unique slip with taffeta at upper waist, small hoop, and a layer of netting at the bottom. In the book, ” The Cissy Files”. By Kiley Shaw, this gown is listed as Hard to Find and from 1956, however this gown came with the FAO Schwarz Royal Tour Trousseau Trunk Set from 1960 which was a One Owner Set. This outfit is also pictured in this month’s UFDC Doll News magazine. It is in Pristine Condition, Vivid Color, Clean, Crisp with a crisp tag. I doubt it was ever played with. Vintage Madame Alexander 8 1950s, Alexander Kins Doll, Straight Leg Walker. Her eyes open and close correctly, no splits in her seams. Her hair is in excellent condition, face has great color. She has a head turning walking mechanisim. Her sleep eyes open and close correctly. Shes marked Alex on her back and is dressed in her original white panty and black side snap shoes (fuzzy bottoms). 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 tall Cissy doll. She is wearing a long flowing yellow dress with matching jacket that has shiny gold trim-this is an original Cissy outfit with label still attached. There are noticeable areas of staining on the dress and jacket. She has light brown hair with bright blue open and close eyes and vinyl jointed knees and elbows. The doll is good condition and has been in storage for many years. Face has soiling and staining most noticeable around the nose and a spot on the forehead. Head, arms, legs, knees and elbows still move well. Legs have soiling and discoloration as does the upper chest area. Marked Alexander on the back of the head at bottom. Foreign according to country. For your consideration, a charming 8 1956 #625. Wendy wears a Charming Ensemble. She is a hard plastic doll with a “Alex” tag on her back. She is a Bend Knee Walker. Her outfit consist of. White Taffeta undies, white taffeta tagged dress that matches the lining of her coat. Over her dress, she wears a emerald green velvet coat with a Peter pan collar and three white buttons. She wears a matching triangular hat with 3 triple tiny brads. On the 11th picture you can only see 2 the other one is on the other side. All clothing is in excellent condition, no rips, tears, discolorations etc. As is the doll. Her shoes snap on the side and they have fuzzy soles, as most shoes in the’50s did. The clothes that came with this set are listed separately. Cissy is 20′ tall made of hard plastic with vinyl one-piece arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips and knees. She has a tosca wig with 2 bangs and a spanner bar. She has Sparking blue eyes with full lashes, perfect rosy cheeks and red lips. She is wearing ” Fancy Decor Queen”, ensemble from 1959. Beautiful tagged V neck gown with a full skirt that is longer in the back, with decor at the shoulder and waist, ivory buckram slip, taffeta panties, stockings, high heels with tight elastic, fingerless gloves, 2 bracelets, pearl necklace, rhinestone earrings and a woven silver braid crown with ruby rhinestones. She needs a Spa Day. Her hair needs a shampoo and set , her gloves and stockings need to be cleaned, I accidentally broke one of her bracelets so it needs to be repaired, her dress is missing 2 snaps in the back, the gown also has some age spots, her panties and slip have loose elastic, and she has a small knee split on her left side. This is an ANTIQUE 1930S COMPOSITION MADAME ALEXANDER DIONNE QUINTUPLETS DOLLS, ORIGINAL CLOTHES, TAGS. This was a wonderful find! They are composition dolls with their original clothes, leather shoes, bonnets & name tags. 3 of the dolls have their bonnets. Each doll has her original dress, leather shoes, slip and bloomers. 4 of the dolls have their original name tags. The dolls are marked Alexander on their backs and each of the dresses retain the original Genuine Dionne Quintuplet Dolls – Madame Alexander cloth tag. One doll still has the original store price tag as well. The joints are somewhat loose, particularly the heads. The arms & legs are a little tighter. The dolls have some crazing from age. One doll’s bloomers have some tears & holes but the rest of the dolls clothes are in great shape and intact. The dolls have some expected age wear but are in VERY NICE condition for their age! Each comes with its own doll stand. The dolls measure 7-1/2 tall. These are FANTASTIC EARLY ANTIQUE MADAME ALEXANDER DOLL COLLECTIBLES! Many items have been in storage and may be a little dusty or need a light cleaning. Please expect wear consistent with age and use.
