Madame Alexander Dolls

Vintage 1930s Dolls and Clothes. The condition reflects the age of these dolls. Doll 1 is a MADAME ALEXANDER , it’s my 86 year old grandmother’s doll, likely from the 1930′s. There is a missing thumb and a spot of damage on one leg. Doll 2 is a baby doll marked Made in Germany 11 J. 237 that resembles KESTNER dolls. This doll has a patch in the back which may have been from a repair. There is crackling of the glaze. It’s also my grandmother’s doll, likely from the 1930′s. This is a lot of white gowns and under garments; there are minor issues, such as missing buttons, seams needing to be sewn, plus the signs of natural aging. PLEASE EXAMINE my PHOTOS carefully. All items are vintage and antique are worn and show age. REMEMBER that VINTAGE CLOTHING has endured the passage of many years, therefore are seasoned from age and time. With vintage items, you might find smudges of washable dirt, stains, tears in the fabric, stretched elastic, missing buttons, colors, particularly whites, that have faded or turned off-white, all the telltale signs of an antique. Examine my photos carefully, I believe they accurately represent the condition of everything included in this sale. Review the pictures carefully. The doll is absolutely GORGEOUS with original clothes, shoes, heels, hat, wig, slip, underwear and box (box is in poor condition). She has NO odors, stains or cracks. There is a mold flaw/dent on the left leg right above the knee. Not sure what it is and I tried to photograph it, but it did not come out. Clothes are in very good condition with no holes or stains and are unwashed. The top does have some dirt/aging to the white part of the stripes. Most likely can be washed out. The skirt is tagged “Cissy”. The elastic in the heels is a bit stretched. Wig is full and in the original set with the original curls. Stringing is still tight and she can hold a pose. She does have the “pocket” watch on her hip. The box is trashed and in many pieces, but the end piece does say Cissy, Lavender, #2114 on the end and it is intact. This doll’s face is beautiful with original factory color and NO touch-up or repaint/repairs. She is a beauty and is ready to be displayed. I Walked With You Once Upon A Dream.. That Look In Your Eyes Is So Familiar A Gleam. This Princess is truly stunning! This Sleeping Beauty was produced in 1959 with a brand new face sculpt and an Elise body. Her crisply tagged heavy slipper satin gown is trimmed in gold & closes at the back with three square snaps. There are a couple of small scuffs near the bottom hem which are of no consequence, as you can see by the photos. This gorgeous gown has no rips, holes or tears. Her long golden wig falls in curls at her shoulders, and her crystal clear baby blue eyes have full, original lashes. She has no splits, cracks or odors, and wears her ORIGINAL hang tag tied to her wrist. Sleeping Beauty has her original box, with original neck brace & original pink tissue.
