This is Binnie Walker from 1955 with the Cissy Face. She is 18′ tall, made of hard plastic except for her vinyl sleeved arms just like Cissy. She has bent knees. She has beautiful blonde hair, gorgeous blue sleep eyes with full lashes, perfect rosy cheeks and red lips. She has blushing on her hands and knees. She is wearing a tagged lovely pink dress, knit sweater with flowers and rhinestones, pink silk and tulle hoop slip, pink satin panties with lace trim, pink and white rayon socks and black patent leather center snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. She has her hatbox with curlers and comb and gold medallion. She is All Original and is in Near Mint Condition. There are 2 marks on the back of her dress that I have pictured for you. Otherwise in Pristine, Near Mint Condition. 1955 is the RARE model with the vinyl sleeve arms and bent knees. Her outfit is crisp and clean, never laundered. She is in her original tagged clothing and retains her Margaret O’Brien clover tag on her wrist. This doll has stunning all original facial coloring, mohair wig, and sparkling eyes that open and close easily. The wig is in original braids with their original red ribbons. Her face and legs show little to no crazing. Her arms have some fine line crazing that you could use a product like compo craze on, if desired. I think she looks spectacular just as is. The dress is a soft fabric, like a rayon. There are no stains on the skirt and just a little brown spot on the back of the blouse by the snaps. 1955 Alexander Cissy doll , 21″ tall, hard plastic doll, jointed elbows and knees, high heel feet, sleep eyes and wigged, clothes are tagged “Cissy. 1955 was the first year that Cissy dolls were produced. The petticoat identifies this doll as being from that y ear. The later Cissy’s did not have the upper arm joint. The lovely deep red “Tag” dress, decorated with rhinestones, and the doll itself, other than restringing, are in mint condition. She has been checked at the joints are there is no damage except for a minor crack on the leg near one knee. The eyes open and close. Her hair is in it’s original set with original hair clips, rosy cheeks, all of her eye lashes, beautifully painted. The shoes are damaged as you can see in the pictures. Original box not included. This is Madame Alexander’s Maggie doll with a Kathy outfit. Maggie is 14 tall and is a strung doll. The dress does not have its tag, but is definitely M. Usually seen in other colors. The dress has square snaps. The stiff half slip may have been added. She has very thick floss hair pigtails. Shoes are vintage, but I don’t believe they are original. Maggie, as usual, is not marked. The doll stand and her bag of spices are not included. Only smell I detect is a hard plastic smell, not sour, down her neck. Lots of stuff here, all circa 1953-54. A 1953 straight-leg non-walker — the very first Alexander-kin type made. She comes with three outfits, fuzzy bottom shoes, socks, roller skates, ice skates. The doll herself, the yellow dress and bloomers, the blue sunsuit, the black fuzzy bottom shoes are all in very good condition. Ice skates and socks good. One roller skate has a nearly detached strap, and the pink outfit is sweet and wearable but is showing its age.
