Description: This is a 12 Eloise in Paris doll made by Madame Alexander. It’s not their usual fair, as it’s a cloth-faced doll with a soft body. I believe it was made as an exclusive for Neiman Marcus in 2001. My mother bought this doll new, with plans to give it to one of her nieces when the girl was old enough, but she put it away and promptly forgot about it. We just rediscovered a number of things she bought around the same time, in the early 2000s and are listing them as we have no use for them. Condition: New, in original box. Inner pink box is fine. Doll is fine and has never been out of packaging. Map and passport are in a plastic bag in Eloise’s tote bag. This is a 1962 Madame Alexander 9 1/2 inch Jacqueline Jackie Cissette Doll #894 in her blue wool two -piece suit and pill box hat (in the style of Jacqueline Kennedy’s classic wardrobe) and in a Jacqueline MA box. Jacqueline is a hard plastic doll jointed at the shoulders, hips, and knees. Her facial painting is to die for with multi-stroke brows, baby blue eye shadow and eyelids, hand painted sweeping eyeliner, high cheek color, and geranium pink lips. Her nails are perfectly painted with a ring on her finger. Her brunette wig is in the perfect original set. She is wearing rhinestone earrings and ring on her left hand, blue wool two piece suit lined in taffeta (now a lavender color which was once blue), shell pink nylon jersey blouse with 3/4 length sleeves is (tagged Madame Alexander in the back under the jacket), white lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed hose and black sling back heels. The matching pillbox hat has three red rhinestones. The box is in good condition with some wear from storage. And shoes are slightly stretched. Her blue wool skirt has some small holes in the back which do not show when being displayed. She is missing a button from the front of her jacket. For consideration, an adorable Alexander Kin known as Alice in Wonderland. She is a 1953 Hard Plastic doll. She’s a Straight Leg Walker. She wears a blue dress with tiny white dots trimmed with lace at the sleeves and rickrack at the neckline. Her dress is tagged: Madame Alexander-Kins. Covering her dress is a sleeveless white organza pinafore trimmed with lace. The pinafore is held by the strings of her pinafore. She wears rayon socks and black shoes with snaps to the side. They have fuzzy bottoms. Her wig is tripled stitched. Her sleep eyes open and close as they should. She is clean and free from scratches, stains as is her dress. This doll has been taken excellent care of and is in excellent condition. All accessories are present and accounted for (excluding her handbag, necklace and gloves).
