She is a very hard to find early Cissette in what I consider mint condition. She is costumed in a beautiful red velvet gown with red net trim. She wears a red feather head piece in her hair. She comes with her original gold wrist tag with: Klondike on it. Her costume is tagged: Madame Alexander. This doll is in my estimation in excellent condition as these dolls were made in the late 60′s-early 70′s. She is in unplayed with condition and has been packed away for many years. I do not always know the makers or artists of any of these items and dolls except some of them may have a bit of age to them. Many of these items will range from one-of-a-kind to just generic type miniatures. She is an original mid 1950s MADAME ALEXANDER 20 inch CISSY doll with an original violet dress with tag (which i didnt see to many of in my searches) , she also comes with a slip which is a bit too large for her so not original. Beautiful blue sleepy eyes with long lashes , jointed elbows and knees , wigged hair and is marked ” ALEXANDER ” on the lower back if her head indicating most likely during the TONY SARG era at company. She has dark brunette hair and is made of hard plastic with ” high heeled ” feet. She will be needing a professional cleaning (see pics) from somebody with more experience than I have. Nurse Joanie is in very good condition. She has her original dress, cap, shoes and watch pin. She has a tiny hairline crack at her left butt cheek. She has some fading and slight loss of lip paint. The strap to one of her shoes is broken but could probably be stitched back in place. There is a gap in the ribbon trim of her cap and slight tearing to the fabric of her left sleeve cuff. Madame Alexander 21 Cissy Bride Doll Stunning! This lovely gal is absolutely stunning! Her auburn hair is in its original hair set with the hair net and jewels. Her face is nearly perfect with high color original face paint, all original lashes and green/blue sleep eyes. She is wearing a gorgeous bridal gown with an attached slip and matching veil. The gown is not tagged and was informed by a fellow beater that her bridal set was beautifully handmade from a McCall’s Fashion doll pattern dated 1956-57. Her bouquet is adorned with dainty silk white and light blue flowers and satin ribbons. She is wearing satin underpants and light blue heals. She also has her original earrings. She comes with her hatbox with accessories inside. There are no holes, rips, or tears on her gown or veil. No major stains but, the gown could use a light cleaning as it shows some little spots from years of storage and display. Her body looks nearly perfect and her knee’s bend well. One hip and one leg near the knee have some minor seam separation. Very common in these dolls. Nothing to indicate that it’s growing or in need of repair. She is display ready and would make a beautiful addition to your doll collection. Great gift for the doll collector in your life. This is another wonderful estate found, vintage Madame Alexander. She is an absolutely gorgeous, 16 ELISE doll. She is wearing the rare, htf, tagged, JUNIOR LEAGUE ensemble. Dolls hair is still in the hairnet! She also has on her nylons, slip, undies, and shoes, but 1 is missing a little pearl on strap. It comes out of the estate of a long time elderly doll collector who has decided to part with alot of her collection. The set is free of stains rips or tears.
