Offered is vintage Madame Alexander Cissy, circa 1950s. She measures 20tall with vinyl arms and hard plastic body. Cissy is in very good condition all joints work, no odor, no splits only some very light overall soiling and two fingers on her left hand have tiny black spots (ink, I think). Her wig is nice and full and she retains her original pearl tear-drop earrings. Beautiful color with full lashes. She comes with her original (untagged) undies as shown. A very nice example! The outfit she was wearing when found… Tagged red polished cotton dress, flocked petticoat, one shoe and one stocking… Please view photos carefully as they are the most important part of the description. This listing is for the doll only. Cissy is very clean and has no odors, cracks, stains or chews. She has had a small repair done to a 1/4 split in the crotch seam. She has some small scratches on her back and a couple on her buttocks. She has a very faint smudge type stain on her upper right arm (pictured). She is newly restrung to head and arms. Her arms are a nice match and have no rips or tears in the socket area. She has earring holes. She has had new blush and matte sealer applied. Her lips and brows are repainted. Her eyes have full lashes and they have been reset. Her hair is clean and retains it’s original curls. This girl is a stunner, ready to be dressed in any type of style! Cissette is ready for the Halloween Masquerade Ball in her elegant and fabulous pumpkin dress. 10 high, she is fully articulated and has green eyes paired with dramatic upswept white hair reminiscent of the powdered wigs that were fashionable in the 18th Century. Her fantastic pumpkin dress has a fitted green Dupioni bodice overlaid with black lace and has a scoop neckline which is enhanced by orange/black ric-rac and gold trim. A peplum of green leaves extends over the orange pumpkin skirt, which is overlaid by black tulle. Black and orange lace, looking quite like the tendrils of a pumpkin plant, finishes the bottom of the hem. Cissette is beautifully accessorized with black fishnet lace hose, orange mules with black trim, and a black felt witch’s hat trimmed with orange/white/brown ribbons, feathers and the sculpt of an owl. She carries a gold masquerade mask trimmed with black pom poms. Open package but never used, displayed or played with. Still has hair net on. Her dress is bright yellow dotted swiss fabric with val lace trim on neckline and added rhinestone trim. Underneath the dress is a white nylon taffeta half slip with tulle double ruffles and matching undies. Her nylons are new and have a tight fit. Also Cissy strap shoes, white nylon straw hat with yellow flowers and bag to match. She also has her white Cissy gloves. Her face is lovely with full lashes, peach eyelids, one stroke brows, blush and red mouth. This outfit was made by a talented seamstress and the hat and bag are by Richard. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation Doll. Has original necklace, earrings, crown, gloves, bracelets, sash, shoes, stockings, undergarments, shoes etc.. Gloves show some discoloration. Doll is in excellent condition, no holes or tears in clothing, eyes functioning.
