Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Redhead wig, in original style. Ivory taffeta and lace wedding dress. Rhinestone earrings and necklace. White strappy high heels. Original long veil with velvet flowers. Full length cotton chemise with pink silk ribbon trim. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has light red hair in the original style with lovely curls, there is some old glue around the edges under the hair. Sparkling green sleep eyes with amber highlights that open and close with hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings and a. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original ivory taffeta and lace wedding dress, it has a lace apron with net flounce. The dress is overall in good condition, it is not perfect, there are some small specks on it, some light yellowing on the sleeves, a bit of lace missing on one cuff, shows very well. Underneath she wears a full length cotton chemise with pink silk ribbon trim. She has a full white petticoat with net flounce. The veil is original, made of fine net, long length, it has a crown of velvet flowers, the gold chin strap is still attached but has lost the stretch, the veil has a repair on the back side and some scattered tiny holes, it has yellowed a bit. The shoes are off-white strappy. High heels, one strap is broken at the heel, they stay on tight, I have not tried to remove them at all, these shoes can be hard to take on and off. Meet our charming, 35-36 inch tall, hard plastic and vinyl. Circa 1959, by Madame Alexander, model #3513. She’ll make a wonderful playmate for your Patti & Peter PlayPal, Betsy, Linda & Sandy McCall and similar size dolls with her adorable looks and friendly features which include big round, sleep blue eyes with original long, perfect eyelashes, cute little “pug” nose, softly blushed cheeks and closed mouth. 1959 on her neck, she has very thickly rooted, long beautiful, light brown or dark blonde hair with thick bangs, no trim. She is shown on page 203, “Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls”-Patricia Smith (pink hardcover) reference book and a very seldom found doll. She has a jointed hard plastic torso, swivel vinyl head and joints at her shoulders and hips and wears her original panties beneath her pale pink cotton dress with wide sash and slip and original socks and original single strap, white shoes. She is in excellent, clean condition with long, shiny hair and crisp clothing with no chips or cracks, no missing hair or eyelashes and no repairs or odors as she is from a smoke free home.
