1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll skirt and blouse. I want to be very clear that there is no fading or color variance to the skirt. It appears that way in some of the pictures due to the nature if the polished cotton fabric and the flash. It is a rich navy blue throughout. Waistline is adorned with flowers that are in excellent condition as is the skirt which is crisp and clean. The blouse is a sheer nylon trimmed in Val lace and is also in excellent vintage condition. Vintage Madame Alexander Doll 20 Cissy Queen 1950s. This is a late 50s Vintage Madame Alexander 20″ Cissy “Queen Elizabeth Doll, honoring her coronation. Cissy has a hard plastic head, and soft vinyl jointed arms. She does show some slight scuffs on her upper arms. Her honey blonde hair is in this original set with a replaced hair net. Her Tiara is missing a couple of jewels but is in wonderful condition overall. She is marked on the back of her head Alexander. There is some some scuffing around her neck and an area on the shoulder. Cissy has painted red lips, blue eyes that open and close freely with full lashes. She does have a couple of small paint chips on her forehead. Just a beautiful face. Cissy’s wonderful brocade gown has some very faint stains and spots along hemline but very faint. She does, however, have light red/pink stains on the back of her gown, bustle area, it may be set in after all these years. I could not lift it with a washing. There is also a spot on back bodice along neckline. Other than that, the gown is just wonderful and tagged Cissy. Her undergarments consist of original matching panties and a wonderful Cissy tagged teddy. Her nylons are perfect. Her hoop slip is nice in original condition. Her gloves are aged but sound with a small hole at the top on the left arm. Her blue sash, “Sash of the Garter” jewels are tarnished and has some fading. She has on original earrings and one bracelet Her head and arms feel secure and she is not cracked on her torso, buttocks or torso. Her knees bend freely. All in all she is a stunning doll to add to your collection. Please look at photos carefully, they are a big part of the description. I also have many more pictures. This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. This Cissy is the cleanest Cissy I have ever seen. I lifted her head and looked and she is like a new doll. I love the material and fit and she also has a red rick rack can can slip that she is trying to show off in one of my pics. She will have panties and hose and a new pair of white shoes to match. She also will have a faux diamond ring that is NOT Madame Alexander. She does not have earring holes. She just has a very pretty face with very blue eyes, all lashes and oh so clean. Golden blonde hair original wig. Her cheeks have been professionally blushed very lightly and sealed. She is a nicely strung doll with no issues. The stand is not included. MADAME ALEXANDER VINTAGE CISSY – BEAUTIFUL. This doll was freshened and restrung at a professional Cissy “Spa” about ten years ago. She has been displayed only in this gorgeous reproduction outfit with dress, full slip, panties, hose and shoes. Notice the rhinestones in her bodice as the vintage Cissy dresses are. This was created by a professional seamstress. Her hair has been kept pinned to preserve the hair that is it’s original hair style. Her stringing is tight and her complexion was only freshened – not repainted. She has no splits. Her lashes are full and her beautiful blue eyes are enchanting. A hard to find doll in very nice condition. Clean, no stains, rubs or discoloring. Blue sleep eyes with the longest of lashes that are full and curled up on the ends. Hair has no cuts or missing plugs. All jointed vinyl at the neck, arms, wrists, waist and ankles. Strung just right so she is easy to pose. All original tagged “Alexander Mimi” outfit that has no stains, fading or holes. Original sandals with a break in one strap on the right sandal and that one has the sole that is separated from the shoe. Just needs some glue. Original woven straw hat with all its flower appliques.
