This Cissy is a painted plastic Cissy, not an infused one. Cissy has been cleaned and restrung. She has no cracks or splits. She has had repair and paint to a hip split on the left leg and a small surface crack on the inside of her left knee. She has had a reblush and a protective matte finish applied to her face. She has beautiful blue eyes and she has full lashes. She has had lash fill in on her left eye. Her head is slightly wobbly, and poses perfect. She has an updo wig that was cleaned and retied. She has earring holes. Her arms are a nice match and have no rips or tears to the vinyl. Her dress is made of pink taffeta and fully lined with white organdy. Snaps up the back with square snaps. Sparkling Swarovski crystals adorn the dress at the sleeves and on her sash. There is also a new white slip, vintage pink Cissy panties, newer nylons, and new gold shoes. This is a Gorgeous 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She is 20 tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has Stunning matte finish face, crystal blue sleep eyes, with full lashes, very rosy cheeks, red lips and a golden blonde curly wig in the bob style. She has blush on her hands and knees. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Bride. All original, no spa work. Beautiful blue eyes and tosca hair in hairnet. She is a strung doll with one piece slender arms and her sparkling faux diamond ring. She has no splits, cracks or odors. Her gown is in excellent shape. There are no flaws in it, but it has been in storage so shows some wrinkles. Her original two layer petticoat has has no damage but relaxed elastic. She has original minty panties and hose. The gown is tagged Cissy. Her shoes are silver replacements and her bouquet is a reproduction. She will hold a pose but would benefit from being restrung. I have her tied to her stand. She has her hair bar and original faux pearl earrings and her faux pearl necklace. There is a split in her veil that is hidden when displayed. See the photos and you can hardly see it. She is beautiful example of this gorgeous bride doll from the 1950′s. I will happily answer any questions or send more photos. I will insure and send with signature required for safety. This wonderful Cissy has been cleaned, restrung, a bit of blush added, hip repair done to top of right leg, and her wig cleaned and styled into original style. She has lovely blue eyes and original full lashes. She has no odors and a very nice body. She is the painted plastic type doll, not the infused Cissy. She has a few defects in her original paint on her right bottom. I have shown a picture of it. Her hips are tight as are her knees. She has no earring holes. This Cissy is wearing a tagged Cissy skirt that has the wrong label on it. It is marked Elise, but as you can see, it is a Cissy sized skirt. I guess someone was sleeping at the assembly line one day? She is also wearing a new organdy sleeveless blouse made by me. The blouse snaps up the back with 4 square snaps. It has prong set Swarovski crystals in the front and is lined with a nylon built in camisole. She has a new nylon cancan style slip, vintage Cissy panties with some repairs, a pair of vintage Cissy nylons with a few small holes in the toes (not seen when shoes are on), and a pair of pink vintage shoes that I added a white flower and some diamonds to. She also is wearing a darling horsehair type hat with original velvet flowers and bows. It is not a Cissy original hat, but it is a very nice hat and I do believe it may have come with another Madame Alexander doll. I added a vintage hat pin for it. Oops, forgot she also has a new pearl bracelet. Stand is not included. Note: Because there are so many people doing repairs on these lovely dolls and I have been asked many questions, I would like to clarify a bit of the work I do. I have had training in plastic and composition repairs and have been doing them for many years. My spa treatments are done with solvent based paints that are air brushed on, the same that are used on plastic bumpers on cars. The paint is UV protected and is permanent and will not rub off. The paint is also sealed with a UV protectant sealer. It also is permanent and will not yellow or wash off. I remove the eyes through the neck opening and replace them back the same way if eyelash and eye repair is done. I do NOT split the head open, nor would I recommend it. I try to always think of the long term effects of my repairs and fixes. As for the clothing I make, I try to make them as close to an original design as possible. I also try to use vintage 50′s fabrics as often as I can. If I do not, I will always state so. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Lovely, Madame Alexander 14 hard plastic walker bride doll ca 1954 with the enchanting Margaret face. All original and in very good condition, no cracks or repairs to the hard plastic. All fingers and toes accounted for. She does have a rub on her nose and I think it is paint under her eyes? Body has some age discoloration to it, see pics. Her dress was filthy and smelly when I brought her home recently so I washed it out in cold water with a little Woolite, much cleaner but still faded in color. Veil has a few tears in it but is still wonderful. She is a great cabinet sized doll to add to your collection. This wonderful Cissy has been cleaned, restrung to head and arms, a bit of blush added, new lashes, and her wig put back into its original style. This doll was a transitional doll and this is how she came with her original stringing, an infused body and a painted face. She has no earring holes, so Swarovski crystals were glued to her ears. She has a small hairline crack high up on the right leg, very thin and not seen. Her hips are tight as are her knees. Her arms are nice with no rips or tears. To accompany Cissy is her new garden party ensemble. This fabric reminded me of her original garden party dress that was painted with flowers. This is new fabric, not vintage. These flowers are embroidered on net fabric. I have added some silk pink flowers and prong set Swarovski crystals to the front of the dress, as the original dress had. The bodice is watermark taffeta with the netting overlayed and lined with organdy. All seams are finished. Bodice closes in the back with square snaps and hook and eye at the waist. The skirt has an underlayment of organdy and under that is a stiff nylon slip from a portrait doll. It fits perfect and gives a nice lift to the skirt. Cissy is also wearing vintage (not Cissy) satin panties, new nylons, new silver heels, new pearl necklace and bracelet, new gauntlet gloves, and a gorgeous hat by Richard’s Originals. This Cissy is an infused doll (paint in infused into the plastic, not a painted doll). She is just lovely and is free of odors, stains, chews, or splits.
