Gorgeous Madame Alexander Elise Junior League – NO RESERVE – Original Box. Circa 1957, Madame Alexander hard plastic Elise doll with jointed legs and ankles, vinyl jointed arms, blonde saran wig with center part hairstyle, blue sleep eyes with molded eyelashes, rosy lips and pink cheeks, diamond earrings, wearing original #1636 “Junior League” tagged purple taffeta dress with tagged white coat, white fur hat with cloth flowers, original slip, underwear, sheer stockings, and purple high heeled shoes. Size: 16 inches tall. Doll is in unplayed with condition, the edge of the left eyelash is slightly bent, wig is in the original set, dress is crisp and there are no stains or odors, the back of the dress is wrinkled from being stored in box, stockings are held in place by the elastic, straps on left shoe is slightly loose tight. Box is in good condition, with some tears, staining and overall edge wear, re-glued split on side of box. These dolls were carefully stored away and come from a nonsmoking home. Very Pretty all original Madame Alexander Cissy Doll for your consideration. First she is Clean, there is no splits that I can see with any of the joints. She has Very Pretty. She is a Redhead with original set. The only issues, is a mark on her left arm on the back side by her elbow and on her right side arm (on the outer side) is two tiny pin. I took pic of all the minor issues I saw. There is also some marks around her neck. I took a pic of this also. I just noticed looking her over again, is a minor small. Scratch between her breast. Actually hard to see. So to sum it all up, I think she is a Beautiful Cissy which I would think you would be very pleased with if you choose to. Again she is nice and clean. 1955 Birthday Party Doll. She has shiny mint hair in tight curls and matte finish face with nice bright pink cheeks.. Her organdy dress is a rose pink with rick rack at the neck, the tag has been cut off. Over the dress is a lime green organdy apron with rick rack and multi flower trimming. She has a white cotton slip and crisp white taffeta undies. Her natural straw hat has a matching pink velvet ribbon and flowers. She has white socks and mint black fuzzy bottom side snap shoes. Her only flaw is a couple of small light age spots on the apron that are barely visible. So please remember this when leaving DSR ratings. Here today is a gorgeous vintage red haired Cissy doll made in the 1950′s by Madame Alexander. Cissy is marked at the base of her neck in the back ALEXANDER. She has very even skin tone with no discoloration, no fading and no unwanted marks. Cissy is so so so gorgeous with beautiful shinny red curly hair, crystal clear blue open and close eyes (no yellowing on the whites of her eyes), a full set of black hair eyelashes (none missing or damaged), painted lower lashes, stroked painted brown eyebrows, beautiful blushed cheeks and tiny pink painted lips. I don’t see any imperfections at all with her face. I see no signs at all of any enhancements or makeovers, I believe she is all natural and original. I have not cleaned her so there could be some light dust on her. The only imperfection I can find with Cissy is she has the start of a leg split at the top of one leg, please see the picture. I know nothing of the mechanics of Cissy’s body but her head seems to not want to stay tilted upwards real good, maybe she needs an adjustment. Cissy’s gorgeous red hair is in excellent condition with lots of curls that probably could use a styling even though it looks darling and wonderful to me, but Im not a Cissy collector. Included with Cissy is a tagged lavender taffeta dress that has no stains, no fading and no holes but there is a couple a places at the waist where the pleat has come loose, maybe there were originally flowers in those areas? Also it looks like there is a remnant of a flower at the neckline. The dress closes in the back with 4 original intact snaps. I don’t believe the dress has ever been washed but it does need pressing. Cissy came with this very nice rhinestone necklace but Im uncertain if it belongs to her. With the exception of the leg issue Cissy is in excellent excellent condition that would make a lovely addition to a Madame Alexander doll collection. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless. This is a Gorgeous Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy. First, please look at the pictures, they are a large part of the description. Also, please ask any questions, I will try to answer the best I can. Okay, again this Cissy is Very pretty. She has been worked on, as you can see, Hair redone (Beautiful job). Her blush has been slightly refreshed. She has had a inner hip socket repaired. It is on the right. I have taken several pictures of a few of the marks on her legs, I believe I got them all. Some marks on the back of her right calf, and right outer hip. Also I think on her upper torso between her right arm pit and waist. I also think there is alittle discoloration on her legs. All of these are Minor and I believe does not take away from the way she displays AT ALL. I just want to mention all I can. She comes with her jewelry, Vintage shoes, vintage Hat box. This is one of the prettiest Cissys we’ve ever been able to offer. She is all original, with no touch-ups, and tight original stringing. Her facial color is vibrant and lovely. She has beautiful blue eyes with all her eyelashes and no scratches on the eyelids. Her wig is tight to the head. And is a beautiful shade of dark blonde. The color is most accurately shown in the pictures showing the sides of her head. The hairdo is all original and just beautiful. This hairdo was used quite a lot and will go with everything from a street dress to a formal. There are no cracks, splits, or stains on her body.
