Thanks for stopping by! Beautiful all original dressed 14″-15″ Maggie face Vintage Madame Alexander Alice In Wonderland doll! Near mint and just lovely! Odors- No offensive odors noted Stringing- She is a non- walkingstrung doll. Stringing is tight and she holds poses well. Head – Clean, no stains or major marks. Hair – Hair is clean, thick and in original set with pretty blonde curls! She does have a few fly aways. She has her original hair ribbon. Makeup/Paint – Face has a lovely matte complexion. Lips are red and original. Cheeks are bright and original. Eyes – Eyes are clear, clean and a very pretty blue. They open and close easily. Eyelashes are full thick and straight. Body- and limbs are clean and free of stains, no cracks to seams. Clothing She wears her lovely original clothing Her taffeta dress has changed to typical lavender shade. It is clean and crisp. Very nice clean crisp tag. Her apron/pinafore is free of stains, but being white I would say it has collected a little dust over the decades. I do see a couple of teenie pinholes, see photos #10 & #11 and a teenie speck of something on neck edge that I could not wipe off, it can be seen in photo #11. You have to be up very close and in good light to see them. She wears her original petticoat and bloomers that are clean, nice fabric sizing, bloomers still have ribbon bows that have retained the blue color. Her stockings are clean, note photo #9, I found one teenie break in the netting. Again you have to look very closely to see it. Her little black side snap shoes are clean and in fantastic condition. She is wearing a Madame Alexander hang tag with original string. These are used vintage items and usually show some degree of play wear. Please, always refer to photos as part of description. From my personal collection, I have always loved this sweet Wendy. Her hard to find original ponytail wig is shiny and in the original set with original ribbons. She has a beautiful face, nice cheek color, flutter sleep eyes, and a wonderful soft expression. Her body is nicely strung with no splits or cracks. She does have some dark marks on her legs that I have never tried to remove. Wendy wears a Tagged Organdy dress in excellent crisp condition and Kins panties. She also has top Stitch pink shoes and rayon socks. Shoes are not perfect, see photos. Straps and snaps are strong, wear looks worse in magnified photos! A beautiful doll for your collection. Simply gorgeous, she has fabulous face paint, with high color cheeks, ruby lips, and flutter sleep eyes. Her dark blonde wig is triple stitched and. In the original set, a bit flattened in the back from a hat, or perhaps laying in a box. Wendy’s heavy hard plastic body has no splits, cracks, or chew marks. She is evenly colored, nicely strung, and will hold a pose. One arm stays up better than the other. She will be fun to dress! This is one of the best Cissy dolls that I have ever come across. She is the Basic Cissy in her original TAGGED chemise, thigh high seamed stockings and high heel shoes. She comes in the satin chemise which was only offered in 1958. The doll comes in her original box. She was put away in the box and never played with. She is a red haired version with the sides and back pulled back into a bow at the nape of her neck and still has the original stringing and bar across the crown of her head. Her chemise is wonderful and is TAGGED. She has the most beautiful high colored face with a matte finish. Make sure you check out my full description.. There will be lots of information and pictures. You won’t be disappointed. 58 Gorgeous SUPERB Cissy #2101 All Original Outfit w/ BOX Never Played With. Please see the photos of this beautiful 1958 CISSY doll by Madame Alexander. She comes to new owner with all of her original outfit and original box. She was put away in the box back in the 1950′s and was never played with. You will have a hard time finding another one that is this nice. Cissy comes with her all original outfit, box and tissue paper. There are no kinds of hang tags or other tags. Cissy is a beautiful red haired girl. She has a superb tosca or red colored wig. The hair has never been brushed out of the original style. She has bangs in the front that are slightly curly. The sides are pulled back into the original brown stringing. The sides and back are then pulled together at the nape of her neck and tied in a pink satin bow. The ends of the hair are curly and have never been out of the bow. The top of the wig is adorned with the original brass bar across the crown of her head. The hair is shiny and nice red color. There is one thin section that has come untucked or loose from the rest of the hair. It may have been cut but I can’t tell for sure. You should be able to see if in the photos. I have gotten it to lie down with the rest of the hair. Cissy has the most wonderful high color face. She still has the matte finish. Her coloring is perfect with rubs. There are a couple of shiny spots on her cheeks but nothing too bad. She has blue eyes with her full set of rooted lashes. The whites have yellowed some but nothing too bad. She has a couple of dirty specks / dust particles around her eyes and nose area. I didn’t attempt to clean in fear of damaging her face. There is a pin dot of what looks like glue on her left temple (factory flaw from when her wig was glued in place). She has some pale dirty smudges below her right ear and on her neck line. I will leave these also for the new owner. She still has lots of pink on her ear lobes. Cissy has a nice body. I didn’t remove her clothing as I didn’t want to stretch out her stockings. She has nice skin tone that matches her head well. She has her complete set of fingers with coral pink on the backs of both hands. Her left elbow has slipped a bit (see photo). There is a slight bulge on the upper arm vinyl capping (inside of her elbow) that kind of sticks out. There are some light dirty specks / spots on her vinyl but nothing too bad. Her torso still has a matte finish with a couple of shiny spots. It appears that her legs are nice and clean with no cracks. She’s a beauty. Cissy comes with her original TAGGED Chemise, thigh high seamed stockings and high heel shoes. The chemise is the 1958 satin version. It’s pink satin with a lace strand down the front. There is a flower decal at the neckline and wide pink elastic shoulder straps. The bottom of the chemise has a crocheted lace skirt / trim. The back of the chemise closes with a pink zipper that works nicely. The chemise is TAGGED and the Cissy tag is nice with no fraying or fading. The chemise is nice and clean with no snags, stains or holes. It has never been laundered. Cissy has nice seamed stockings that are thigh high. They are in great shape with no runs, stains or holes. The elastic at the top is nice and tight. That is why I didn’t remove them so that they would stay in this nice condition. There are a couple of dirt particles on the underneath side of the stockings that I didn’t try and remove for fear of damaging the stockings. Cissy has her original mule high heels. They are pale pink heels with hot pink felt soles. The felt does have some wear / holes but the colors are nice and bright. The fronts of the shoes have lace trim with large hot pink cabbage roses on the fronts of the shoes. The elastic bands are light pink. The ones over the top of the foot are nice.. The ankle ones are a little loose. Both shoes still have their pair of rhinestones in place. Finally, there is her original box. The box is not perfect and does have a few flaws but it did well to protect Cissy over the years. It’s the type of box with lid and box bottom. They are cardboard with Madame Alexander paper covering. The original owner placed two bands of duct tape on each side of the lid and attached to the bottom. There are tears on the box surface paper when someone opened the box by removing part of the tape. I have left these tape bands in place and will leave for new owner. The lid had split corners at one time and former owner repaired with glue as well as along the edges. One side panel of the box bottom has been scrunched some. There is wear on the corners and some browning to the box paper. The box does have it’s original Cissy label on the bottom panel. It states 2101 (which is the correct number for this 1958 version Basic Cissy). It is marked Red for her hair color. Inside the box, there are several pieces of pink tissue paper (original to the box) that have oranged over the years. She’s a Gorgeous High Color Cissy dressed in an original outfit. Don’t you deserve a vintage CISSY doll for your special holiday GIFT… Just waiting for you to dress her in holiday glamour! She is NOT perfect nor mint but in very nice vintage condition. There are some minor reddish marks on her back and you may need to do some minor cleaning here and there… Nothing major at all. Cissy has a fancy hairstyle with some flyaways. There is a gap in the hair on left side of her head and you can see the wig fabric… Maybe the hair can be moved towards the center to close the gap. I added a better close-up picture of this flaw. Her eyes are green and not bright as they originally were. She has nice brows, cheek and lip color. Her stringing appears to be fine and her legs may be a walker-type… Her head has a tendency to move back down if you move it up. I do not notice any particular splits or cracks in neck, legs, and knees but her left outer knee shows a slight seam flaw. Her right elbow is not perfect but works. Doll is in very nice vintage condition with no offensive odors and my home is non-smoking with no inside pets. I have tried to mention everything but please zoom pictures for more details as they are part of the description or ask questions. Cissy will be packed well in a box to protect her.
